If you enjoy BBQ then your sure to enjoy Chuck’s. Yes there is sone ice cream, as this is the former location of Bristol’s well know ice cream stop by the warf. Now your not limited to ice cream. You can have a bite to eat and enjoy the waterfront. The Memphis syle chicken is excellent, not to hot, great cuts of meat. The brisket sandwich is moist and is not drowned in sauce, though you can do so if you would like. The mac and cheese is definitely made from scratch and has a great cheesey flavor. Whiskey baked beans were a bit different then the baked beans I am accustomed to but this may be due to the Texas style. It was a departure from the normal offerings which is a good thing to see. The fried okra was only made better with the creamy pepper sauce that accompanys it. Sure to be a hit and hard to find in this area. While I was waiting I sampled the corn chowder, I adore corn chowder and Chuck’s executes it flawlessly. I don’t vare for celery however Chuck’s corn chowder makes it blend perfectly in a way that the chowder would be naked without it. If you smell smoke in bristol, follow you nose to Chuck’s and you will not be disappointed. Having spent a lot of time and fuel driving to places like Mission BBQ to satisfy my hankering for BBQ, this opening is the kind of excitement we can look forward to in bristol these days.

I believe in constructive criticism, so I’d like to share my experience with my meal from Chuck’s this evening. We were very excited to hear that a bbq place was opening in Lower Bucks. Overall food was okay, definitely not the best I’ve ever had. Let’s start with the packaging, while I can appreciate the eco friendly containers… by the time I got home the box was completely soggy and the food was leaking into the plastic bag. It was also haphazardly slopped into the box. What a mess. (See pictures). I would suggest a sturdier container for to-go orders. I had the 2 meat combo with 2 sides and corn bread $16. Pulled chicken was really salty, brisket was a little bland and dry but with the addition of Chuck’s bbq sauce tasted alright. Mac & cheese was bland and dry. Cole slaw was bland but made with fresh cabbage, which was nice. Corn bread was moist but had an overpowering taste of jalapeno. They’ve only been open for a week so I’m sure they have some kinks to work out. Best of luck!

This was my first time eating here and I have been waiting for them to open up since this winter and finally made it over. The wait was reasonable, we ate on the side bar. Great portions, delicious BBQ. We had the ribs and the brisket. The sides and sauces were good too. It hit the spot for a BBQ craving, next time we’ll get dessert too.

I have to say We have tried a lot of BBQ places locally and this place quickly became our favorite. My Husband And I do take out food on Friday nights and try to support the smaller family run places, and this is defiantly one of our go to spots. The only thing better than the food here is the people that make it. We have ordered many different things off the menu and it’s always really good and they are always consistent. If you’re hungry for BBQ you should defiantly give them a try! Their brisket is by far our favorite thing they make!

Pulled pork sandwiches never a miss especially with that Chuck’s BBQ sauce. Their fries are not my taste, too oily, and the coleslaw was a straight miss. Ice cream though was great and the water ice is like any water ice. 3 stars only for the pork and ice cream but I’ma try other foods and see whats up!

Tried Chuck’s today for the first time. I have traveled all over the south and have tasted plenty of BBQ. This was some of the best I’ve ever had. Fried Okra was great and so was the Mac and Cheese. Don’t forget the cornbread especially if you like it with jalapeño pepper. I had the brisket and my husband had the ribs. I think your a keeper Chuck!

My first visit surely won’t be my last. Some of the best bbq I’ve ever had. Sauce on the side let’s you taste the meat in its bare glory, and oh so good. Sides were perfect. As it’s carry out only is my only negative but even that won’t stop me from becoming a frequent customer. Next time I’ll try to save room to try some dessert. Well worth the trip across the bridge.

This was the worst food I have ever had in my life. I came here with My daughter for the first time tonight, because I always see people with the wipes are a foam containers eating at the wharf. And I figured it must be good.
The five dollar special pulled pork sandwich… I don’t think it could’ve been dryer if it was on the sun for a month. And there is no flavor whatsoever. I’ve never tasted food with no flavor before!
The ribs… I think it was more fat than meat. And again, it was absolutely tasteless.
I could’ve washed $26 down the toilet and had a better experience.

This place was a tremendous let-down. My wife and I split brisket and pulled pork, with hush puppies. fried pickles and fried okra for sides. By far, the best part of the meal was the BBQ and dipping sauces. The meat was plentiful but essentially flavorless. There was no evidence of spice rub or smoke ring, and very little bark. Needless to say, I won’t be back, and I advise those with a yen for BBQ to go elsewhere.
