I’ve been passing this restaurant for about two years now. So I was craving biscuits and gravy so we looked online and found out that Chubbys has it. Came over and everyone was nice and friendly. I ordered chicken fried steak with eggs hash browns and biscuits and gravy. My boyfriend ordered the big steak omelette which was huge. Everything was seasoned and fresh! The biscuits and gravy hit the spot! The Pancakes were a hit as well! So fluffy. Will definitely be coming back! Highly recommend if you want a good home cooked meal!

I’m traveling for work and the hotel suggested I go here for a good local meal. I checked out the menu and the prices seemed very reasonable and it wasn’t far from the hotel. I was greeted promptly and the hostess had a great smile. Jessica was my server and she was just as great. I got the chicken fried steak and it was very tender and a perfect amount of gravy. Jessica was very attentive without being on top of me all the time. Would definitely come back the next time I’m in the area. The corn bread was DELICIOUS!!

Enjoyed a relaxing dinner with my neighbors. We tried the onion rings, fried okra, chili, fried fish and classic grilled chicken. All very good. Portions are sharable. Prices are reasonable. Our server was fairly new but was very Friendly and fun. We enjoyed her and she made our dinner experience better. We were so full that we had no room for dessert. Recommend Chubby’s for good food and good prices. Next time we will save room for desserts.

We had a large party so the food quality varied widely depending on the dish. Chicken dishes were solid but not so for the veggies. The server was attentive l, but not a great attitude. For example, twice she didn’t respond when I asked for something but she did bring it. The atmosphere was clean but a bit stuffy. I can say that the prices are great.

There could up to 10 of us & the ladies get us our favorite waitress Soladad & a good table. Life is short so some of us have desert first. The cakes & pies are the best! Breakfast served all day. Everything has been very good and fresh. Menu has a good selection & the ice tea is good & strong.

This restaurant is on our favorite list on Google maps. Reasonable pricing and generous portion selection. We don’t visit this part of town often, but whenever we travel here, we love to stop for some American cuisine.

The food was okay, but came out luke warm. The service from our waitress was exceptionally good. The kitchen manager seemed to be having a bad day that day, for sure. For being as packed as it was, I’d say she should have just changed the guys order and not caused such a scene for adding the wrong gravy. Lol, it was distracting to say the least. Anyhow, it’s a good place to try and worth a shot.

I was surprised by the number of people there for brunch. Despite the restaurant being full, we were served promptly! Brought our baby and server was kind enough to give us the corner seat so we have space to park the stroller. All the servers are very friendly and helpful.
Our food arrived in less than 10 minutes and the it was delicious. Hubby ordered french toast + biscuits and gravy and I had the Fisherman’s seafood delight. Portions were just right (I finished my plate)! Restaurant is clean and service is excellent. Food is affordable too. Definitely well-managed. Thank you!

Ordered the Southern Chopped Steak, (supposed to be Sirloin) this is a Hamburger Patty, it’s also red in the middle.
