Will fly for food
Overall good dinner, the food just didn’t have love, but it was good. Lacking tenderness on the burnt ends and the food was just unusually bland for BBQ. We enjoyed the Mac n Cheese, cheesy corn and the thin sliced brisket. We would eat there again.

Last minute birthday party accommodation and they were able to get us in quick and painless. Within 20 minutes! Marcy was our server and though we had a big party she wasn’t expecting, she accommodated to the change so easily and took care of all our needs easily! Great customer service and overall experience!
The food plates could have been made up my the back of house a bit better and not quite as messy but the food was pretty good overall. The bbq sauce is more thick and chunky, not exactly my favorite but might be someone else’s 🙂

I was extremely disappointed for only one reason. I ordered the meat platter (sausage and turkey) to go and should have checked it for myself before leaving. When I got home, I opened my container to find it only had the turkey in it. The turkey was great, just really disappointed since I had been looking forward to smoked sausage all day.
Follow up: I received a response to my review. Pretty much sums up why I haven’t and now won’t return. No apology. Basically blames me for the error stating that they “encourage” customers to check carry out orders before leaving. No signage “encouraging” customers to do so, and the person giving me the food did not do so. Why did the mistake occur? The response says it all, no accountability by the owner means no accountability in the restaurant.

Everyone had smiles. The wait staff and busboy were on point. The BabyBack ribs were wonderful hot and steamy, beans and potato salad yummy. I ordered the featured cake from the menu but they also have a desert tray of cakes. I will put them on my top three BBQ restaurant.

The host was absolutely blah! I almost left because of him. I couldn’t hear him talk and he was as personable as a door stop.
The manager was nice in our brief conversation. He actually brought out our appetizer.
Our waitress was pleasant. Super quiet personality. She smiled frequently which was great. We had to request drink refills every time. The food was great though and she got it out quickly.
I was very pleased with the baked beans and house salad. My grilled burger was flavorful and still a little pink inside which agrees with me but not to some.
The restrooms smelled and looked clean. I would recommend they change out the door push plates which have lots of wear. The ceiling tiles are water damaged around vents. I have always liked the build design. It still looks good overall.
It’s really good priced overall also. Prices are not that much off the 1990’s prices which is remarkable. This was a good visit in many ways. Food came fast which was also good.
Be warned they add in gratuity automatically. Forcing it and not letting a customer decide what it appropriate is wrong.
We were going to leave more but they preset the 18%.
We gad to ask for a to go box.

Wonderful service! Tristen was our server and he by far was one of the best servers I have ever had. He was always one step ahead. The food was amazing. We had a late lunch early supper and was a fairly busy place even at 4 on a Sunday. While we ate to much with the combo appetizer we took half out sandwiches back to the hotel with us and were great cold even. Would visit here again when we are in KC area.
