Honestly, it even felt like the delays were intentional — almost as if customers are expected to eat one or two items, get tired of waiting, pay, and leave. That kind of experience is very disappointing, especially when you come expecting unlimited service.
Food was served very slowly, with long gaps between each item. We spent most of the time waiting instead of eating, which completely defeated the purpose of “unlimited chaat.” After more than 1 hour of waiting, our hunger was gone.
We spoke to a couple of staff members (not sure if they were managers), but it didn’t help. They even suggested ordering from the regular menu, which made no sense when we are paying for unlimited.
They also said vada pav wouldn’t be served, even though it was mentioned in their advertisement.
Overall, poor service and misleading expectations.
If you’re planning to visit on Wednesday unlimited chaat, I would not recommend it.
Idly, Vada, bonda, puri bhaji, sambar pongal, chutneys, jilebi, sweet in buffet.
pesaruttu/upma and dosa brought to table. dosa i got wasn’t good. everything else was very good.
Service is top notch. Things keep running out and kitchen struggles. but to keep up. Coffee was good but ran out.
They have vegetarian and non veg options both priced differently.
Lots of options to choose from and everything was warm and tasty. They had warm semiya payasam and gajar ka halwa for dessert, which was super cool.
Both the mutton and chicken curry tasted good and paired well with poori and dosas.
The guy serving dosas at our table was awesome. He constantly checked what I needed and got it made promptly.
Also impressive was their frequent refilling. At no point did I have to wait on food. Even pooris and vadas were being brought hot as they were being made.
Everything tasted good.
This placewas good but from last 2 years they decreased the quality and increased the price. You are charging people and not willing to provide quality food. I had called multiple times to complaint but management of this place sucks more than the food.
Today I have ordered jackfruit biryani and samosa wrap and they put sticky low quality rice Wich we ate at home.. usually in wrap they used to put basmati rice and good gravy.there was very leass gravy and on taste of bad Rice, you can’t find samosa in the wrap
For jackfruit biryani there was no jackfruit and salt only fried onions and rice.
Issue with biryani happened many times before in the past. While ordering we used to mention pls put jackfruit also not onions and rice only.seems lIke we very begging for what we deserved.
Problem is being a vegetarian, in Ashburn there are not so many food options for late dinner takeout.so we were ordering despite of many issues with biryani.
This place used to be a very good place before and we had ordered and ate many times but from last 2 years this place is getting suck day by day
I don’t why management is not taking any action to improve even though I had complaint and give feedback many times.
But I am done wasting my money. I will go taco or chipotle but not here.
Chopati Indian Restaurant offers an excellent South Indian breakfast buffet.
The variety is huge, with perfectly made Idlis, Dosai, Vadas, and more. The taste and quality are superb—nothing is compromised. Best of all, every dish is consistently served hot!
A fantastic, high-quality way to start your day. Highly recommended!
Mysoor Bonda – It was from very old batter, fridged and so dark color and tasteless. Cut mirchy – super oily and numb taste.
Paneer Tikka Masala – I really don’t understand why it is white and full of milk taste and smell. I couldn’t find the difference between peatut chutney and this gravy.
Chopathi team – there is something really wrong. Pls taste every item before you supply!!!
Among our group, all the men who had the Non-Veg buffet ended up with severe stomach pain and loose motions for more than 24 hours. Something was seriously wrong with the Kheema Dosa or Mutton Curry. Luckily, our family members who ate only the Veg buffet escaped and are doing fine.
It is very clear that the non-veg items were not fresh or not prepared properly. It is a very serious matter when so many people fall sick at the same time. We used to trust this place, but after this incident, we will never step in again.
Requesting management to check your kitchen hygiene immediately. Please don’t play with people’s health. Not recommended at all.”
The plates are not properly washed as anyone can find the stains are visible.
The toilets are poorly maintained, as they are not at all cleaned not even once of my visit in more than 20 times until the review is posted.
Few breakfasts and chicken starters taste good.
If you ask extra sambar or anything, they charge for it without hesitation.
And there are times where they not even serve ginger chutney for the ordered plate out of many plates.
Sometimes some staff are really friendly and sometimes they seems like they really don’t care you.
The tea here is 2.5 out of 5, I don’t recommend.
Punugulu are Crispy and too much oily.
I really love bondas here.
Chicken biryani was normal.
The pot biryani will serve 2 people and the taste was ok, I can’t complain on it.
The parking space is congested from time to time.
They do take orders for occasions, which is pretty good.
