We are a small town Drive-thru Diner. Beautiful downtown High Springs is our second location. When you visit Chompers you’ll find a wide selection of fresh hand made choices. That means sliced, diced, breaded, blackened and more- when you order it! We don’t have holding boxes or steam tables babysitting your food. Try our Burgers, wraps, rice bowls, pasta bowls, seafood, sandwiches and of course our creamy ice cream choices. We have drive-thru and a walk-up window with outdoor tables so you can enjoy the relaxed Florida style. We came her while visiting from out of town…their versatile menu was intriguing so we came and ordered several things to try. All the food tasted freshly made and was seasoned and cooked well along with the fries that I love (I’m a fry girl and I approve their fries). The gatornuggets were good and tender , Cheeseburger was perfect, the chicken sandwich was good, and the frog legs weren’t bad, fried green tomatoes were fried perfectly their sauces were good. I see the reviews about appearance—they def do dress casual or to their comfort but their customer service is amazing it gives me small town feel where everyone knows each other.

We decided to give this place a try while driving thru High Springs on a Sunday. We were not disappointed. We went to the window to order so we could enjoy the picnic tables and beautiful weather. It seems like most people use the drive-thru. The service was excellent. The lady taking our order was so friendly and helpful. The food was excellent. Fresh and hot. There is only outdoor seating, which on a beautiful day, like today it was perfect. We will definitely be back. Definitely recommend this place for some delicious food.

After a trip to the springs, we came in hungry. There was so much variety of food choices and all of it good. I had a Cuban Sandwich with fries and ordered frog legs for the group.

Absolutely phenomenal atmosphere and people. Both times I’ve stopped here my food choices were off the charts! The first time I got the Gator PO boy and the fried green beans and boy they didnt disappoint! Tender fried Gator and a sauce that’s to die for! The time I got their mushroom and Swiss burger and fried green tomatoes and dang, my mouth is still watering! Fried green tomatoes tasted just like granny’s used to ❤️ an excellent place to stop at 10/10! Thank you to all the staff as well, my hats off to you guys! My meal was very hot and fresh and delicious. The chicken tenders were juicy and large in size with 4 or 5 pieces. The chicken wrap was perfectly made. A little light on the ranch, but it still tasted great.

This is NOT a “fast food”. What you are getting here is quality, so have patience. If you can wait at a sit-down restaurant for the same quality, that’s what you’ll find here at this drive-thru.

I won’t be back this place failed all around, cold stale fries , burger sucks! it’s supposed to be a blue cheese burger with onion rings and bacon… taste bland and portions are really small. nothing taste fresh or hot. 14 dollars. Service was ok they were friendly enough but the food is a grey blob… the best part was the cold bacon.. thanks for the left overs

The perfect local spot to get a quick bite to eat. The burger was fantastic with crispy edges. The corn nuggets were fresh and tasted absolutely delicious. The workers were polite and very helpful.

The food was pretty good, I enjoyed their fish tacos, and the fried green tomatoes were surprisingly good. I was disappointed with the “drive thru” process that they have(22min wait for our food) going on there. I would advise proper time management if planning on using their drive-thru, but I can tell you that I look forward to trying more of their food.

Got a philly cheesesteak from here with a friend, wouldn’t recommend. My fries were cold, my food wasn’t even cooked all the way through, drive through was no better either. We were ignored and basically rushed out. as-well as the person taking our order was rude and sounded annoyed and barely even let us speak while we were ordering.
