What a great experience. Our server was so great. And the food…… We started off with potstickers and they were spot on. The Caesar salad was very good (but it was a Caesar salad, so not too hard to get right). My tuna was cooked to perfection and had the most amazing seasoning. My wife was crazy about her Grilled Chicken Pasta. There was too much for her to eat, so we took it home and out son raved about how good it was. The warm gooey butter cake for dessert was sinful. We each had a couple adult drinks and they were excellent and pretty potent, definately not watered down. It was quiet and the lighting was, what I would call classy. Not bright, but not dark. We will 100% be coming back.

The food is amazing! Me and my wife love this place, service is also top tier! I highly recommend the waitress Katie M, so friendly and knowledgeable. Her recommendations are great! I highly recommend the chicken cordon bleu and lobster tails . It was our second time there and man it was great.

The food was pretty the staff was nice but the food was portions was small and when they packed our food to go for us they didn’t put everything in the box. The food was dry all of it. The cheese dip wasn’t even cheesy just a bunch of non melted cheese in a bowl. The salmon was slimy but yet dry at the same time and they wouldn’t take it off my ticket so we still had to pay for the food I didn’t like nor want. But the staff was nice about all of it just couldn’t do anything about it. But they didn’t come the table often enough, we waited like 40 minutes just to get our order taken. I also didn’t like they didn’t have a drink menu even tho they had a whole bar. My man really liked the burger tho just the bun was too small for the patty. The bathroom was really hard to find too it was in the basement/ downstairs with no signs pointing you in that direction.

Me and my son were passing through looking for some upscale food. We found it. Absolutely delicious. We had to sit at the bar because it was busy. Busy is good. The girls working the bar were super friendly, quick, and accommodating. The food was delicious. I will absolutely come back to explore the menu.

Our server wrote down our order but once we received our dinner, 90 minutes later, it was still incorrect. After having to explain in the simplest way possible, she got it incorrect a second time. We didn’t even get a chance to have a single bite of our food there because it had taken 90 minutes to get it; so we had to get it to go. The waitress also did not understand actual food allergies and concerns for cross contamination so if you have a life threatening food allergy, make sure to ask detailed questions and trust your gut feeling at this place.

My husband and I dined here recently after 10 years from our first visit. Our experience was not like the first. I ordered a Cosmo and it smelled like rubbing alcohol and had a horrible taste. My silverware was dirty. We had 2 tables sat next to us after us that ordered and ate before we ever got food. They got entrees before we got our appetizer. The lobster dip has so much cheese all you taste is cheese, no lobster. I got the baby green salad with my entree, it had so many fried onions out of a can, that was all you tasted. My husband had a Cesar salad and the dressing was dripping off. I ordered the scallop risotto, the scallops were way over cooked and risotto was undercooked and crunchy. My husband had the grilled chicken pasta and the chicken was dry and had very little flavor. Our waitress was missing for most of our meal, the busser and other girls did more than she did. We got our bill and were charged for things we didn’t order. There is a 3% credit card fee, they do not take checks “unless its from a business”. Overall, it wasnt worth the price and we wont return.

I found it by hunting the internet, and the reviews were all exceptional. It was a delicious meal.
I had the Aunt Jane chicken. Sooooo delicious. The breast is moist and cooked to perfection. I loved the fresh green beans and the smashed potatoes. The table gets a basket of tiny rolls with house made herbed butter that was sooo good.
The waitress was engaging and very kind. She told us about half-price bottles of wine, so we each purchased our own wine. You can take the leftovers home to enjoy another day.
Hubby had the portobello mushroom dish and said it was excellent. I opted to try the raspberry sorbet! It was very yummy.
If we are ever in this area again, this will be the restaurant where we will stop again. It’s really worth the trip!

My wife liked her grilled chicken breast dinner and I ordered the steak and it was the best I’ve ever had. We got there early right after they opened, no reservation but got seated immediately. You’ll have to go through the main Street entry door because the parking lot door goes straight to the bar and you’ll need a reservation to be seated. I’ll recommend this place place as a four and a half to 5 five two friends that want to go to Alton and have a good dining experience
