Upsetting. Came in and waited a good 10 minutes before our drink orders were taken. When we received our food, it was cold.. even the soups. Worst part of all is I found hair wrapped up in my food. When we tried to speak to the waitress, we had to call her over. She didn’t check in on us once, as a customer I felt neglected. I’ve had better service experience at McDonald’s. A waste of time and money. Very disappointing.

Im not sure if they were having problems with their heat but the restaurant was extremely cold. So cold we had coats on still and we’re uncomfortable. The waitress was extremely slow. It was between 5 to 10 minutes before she even asked what we wanted to drink. 3 of the drinks were in Styrofoam cups because she said they ran out of clean cups. The appetizers were ok. We had a party of 5 and everyone’s food was cold and one of our plates had several lengthy pieces of hair on it. We mentioned it to our waitress and her response was as if it wasn’t even a big deal. She said she would remove it from our bill and didnt seem apologetic or made 0 effort to help improve the situation. The atmosphere was terrible due to the uncomfortable cold temps. The food was terrible from all dishes being cold and hair on one of the dishes. The service was extremely slow with little to no effort. I understand sometimes things happen but we are considering not returning due to the waitress not even caring or making a effort to help us.

Absolutely disgusted by what I saw! Me and my daughter had dined in. Upon leaving I ordered a burger to go. I stood in the back waiting for it to be prepared and watched them touch everything with no gloves on! No hair nets! No hand washing, no food hygiene at all!! I watched a girl run her fingers through her hair, then put her customer’s food on the plate with the same fingers! I watched another playing on her phone, then put a customer chicken on the plate with her bare, unwashed hands! My stomach flipped, considering we had just eaten the food! Never again!

3.5 stars. They didn’t have Mountain Dew or Jim Beam, my drinks of choice. Cheese sticks don’t come with marinara sauce. Bathrooms stunk and were dirty. Food was good, I got wings and the hot sauce was a touch on the vinegar tasting side for me… the boy got chicken strips and he said they were great, girl got a burger and said it was great, buddy got BBQ wings and said they were good. Everyone thought the fries were awesome. $49 for me and the boy before tip, I had 2 cocktails so that inflated the price a touch. Our waitress was good, though I did have an empty glass for almost ten minutes, and the boy did have to go request marinara sauce because we didn’t see her for that ten minutes. It wasn’t bad, but for the money I’d prefer somewhere else.

I stopped in for lunch this afternoon passing through town, I ordered the burger and the special Vanilla Coke! Everything was good, but the exceptional service from the 2 ladies working is what I remember! Highly recommend, keep up the good work!

Chix is the place for great chicken. Oh and the ribs are delicious. I use them monthly I would say, and no matter what I order, I’m impressed with the quality of the food. From my experiences, the cooks are very good! In Streator, Chix is my go to for dinner.

Ordered wings last night both boneless and traditional and they were dry and awful. Certainly not worth the $30 the meal cost me. Chix use to be a very good place to get food. However for the past year the fried chicken is way to salty so I’d decided to try their wings. Worse mistake of my life. I swear they delivered me Tyson wings from a bag. Neither the traditional or boneless looked “freshly breaded and tossed in sauce” Don’t waste your money here. These few “boneless wings” or “Tyson honey bbq anytiziers” cost $10. Could have went to krogers bought a bag for half the price.

We chose Chix based on website and menu. And WOW !!!!!! It was A MA Z I N G!!!! Great chicken. Great salad. Homemade ranch dressing and homemade appetizers. Best service and super clean !
