I try not to leave bad reviews but damn man this location sucks. The service sucks, the consistency in the food sucks, the location is messy all the time. $14 for this? You can get authentic Mexican food at a sit down restaurant for that price. Just crazy.

This Chipotle location is dirty. Tables are always dirty and over flowing trash. The glass you look through to make your selections was gross. Didn’t look like it had been cleaned in weeks. The next question on this review was if I dined in or did take out, I didn’t get food. It was so dirty I left.

We’ve eaten at this particular location a number of times over the years and we stopped in today after a year or so since the last time and it’s the worst upkeep we’ve ever seen for a restaurant of any type. Food all over the floor, food debris all over the ordering area, trash bins full all the way, up, etc.
Ordinarily I would have thought that they were just really busy, but there were no less than four idle employees who didn’t seem to have anything to do while two very harried individuals were working the line and one was stuck at checkout.
Frankly, it looks like a health violation waiting to happen. Food was also kind of flavorless and mediocre. My 4yo was served a whole bay leaf.

I don’t normally leave negative reviews unless I’m disrespected and the situation is actually distressing. My boyfriend and I went to this Champaign location tonight to pick up an online order I had placed, he was told it would be “ready in a minute”. At least 20 more minutes go by, the line in the store has basically cleared, people coming in and getting food and sitting down to eat and nobody even acknowledged him again. At that point I went inside to see what was taking so long. I understand that it can get busy and there can be a longer wait time but that was never communicated and I do not feel good and wanted to get the food and leave. I was instantly disrespected by the girl at the online order station and treated like I was an inconvenience because I was asking about my order. She told me the person at the register will help me but there was nobody there. After realizing this girl was too incompetent and combative to talk to, I asked for a manager. I was given excuses about how they were receiving orders from other locations and they were backed up and how the whole crew went on break at the same time as reasons why we still couldn’t get our food, even though like I said they had no problem serving the people inside the store that had walked in to order. The girl handling online orders was way out of line trying to talk shit to me and the manager on duty was also condescending and unprofessional and chose to act like I was the one who made a mistake and like my boyfriend and I were a problem for them. I also witnessed employees touching their face and hair and clothing while they were handling food and so at that point realizing this was a whole ordeal I asked for a refund and was given a number to call. This was supposed to be my dinner and my time was wasted and I just have a terrible taste in my mouth from my experience tonight. This was completely unnecessary and avoidable and we will not return. I can only hope the higher management becomes aware of this behavior if they’re not already so others have a better experience than we did.

Absolutely disgusting. Standing water in the back. Nasty vents directly above the food. Filthy surfaces everywhere. Unfortunately not until we were leaving did we see the health department sign outside saying they have two violations that can cause foodborne illness. And the employees act like you’re inconveniencing them by ordering food.

This location is awful.
5+ employees standing in back room. One employee working. It was 4pm almost all food was gone. The pico is not like any other chipotle location, it’s just sliced tomatoes.
The places has not been cleaned in weeks. Trash everywhere, all tables dirty, drink machine area was disgusting.

If I had read the reviews I’d have known better. This location was not understaffed but undertrained line was out the door waited for over an hour before reaching the front to be told there isn’t enough white rice for 2 bowls it was 6pm on a Saturday. No Im sorry. No problem one will be fine I said
My child only wanted veggies so they placed 1 tong full on the rice less then a quarter cup. No receipt no thankyou for dining with us. The young man they had behind the line was not at all prepared to work in the fast pace environment there was also staff whom could not anticipate the process of replenishing ingredients based on the line through the door. I will never go back to this location.

Burrito was leaking in the bag. Wasn’t rolled right at all. They were out of black beans and lettuce. Opening my burrito was a mess and it was falling apart everywhere. Terrible costumer service employees were rude and obviously didn’t care about their jobs. Food was cold. Do you’re self a favor and just go to the one on Green St.

I am a massive fan of chipotle, I go all the time to many very different locations. I am displeased to say that this is the absolute WORST location I have ever been to. The line is always out the door but this isn’t because they are busy. This is because this is quite possibly the LAZIEST staff I have ever seen. The rate at which people process through the line is at a snails pace. This isn’t fast food at this point, they make the food and then you stare at it for another 10 minutes waiting to he checked out which for some reason takes 5 minutes per customer, so when you finally DO get to eat, its already cold. Not to mention how STINGY the portions are. The employees make sure to scoop as little as possible, to the point where you HAVE to ask for double protein to even make it worth it anymore. I think the reason they have to be so stingy is because they lose so many potential customers as they all walk away as most rightfully decide that the wait is NOT worth it, because this Chipotle will find any way to bone you. I have NEVER left Chipotle ANGRY and I never ever should have had to.

The dining area was disgusting!! Dirty tables,trashy drink area, dirty floors and overflowing trash. The registers were down so we had to order online,while in the restaurant. We were told this after we had our food order made. So,we had to order while our food sat and become cold. No offer to make us a new order or anything.
We stopped here while driving through the area. We will make sure not to stop here again.
