It’s been 4 years since I had Chipotle because I moved from AZ to Winona, MN and I am left here wondering what happened?! I ordered a burrito bowl and got slop….literally SLOP! And even worse it was COLD! I had to dig to find the meat, they layered the add ons but for rice, lettuce and meat it’s a joke. I am so disappointed, I had seen other reviews before going that stated similar complaints as mine but I was hoping it was a fluke of poor training. Now I wonder if this is the new normal for the company, are standards this bad in the food industry? I used to order Chipotle once a week in AZ and it never looked like this and I never needed to ask for “extra meat”. The prices definitely went up, just like everywhere else but obviously the food quality went down too. So I paid more for less…so depressing. Won’t be making this mistake again and urge other people to not even bother going here.

Very disappointing. The place looks dirty and poorly maintained. Food residue everywhere — on the counters, service areas, tables, and even on the floor. The kitchen area does not inspire confidence at all. To make things worse, the restrooms were clearly not clean. Overall, hygiene seems to be a low priority here. I won’t be coming back.

The food here is fresh and fantastic. It opened in December and all the employees have improved greatly since then. Every time I go the experiment gets better! Highly recommend giving it a try, it puts Qdoba to shame. Most of the bad reviews on here are for mobile orders and are one time flukes. I never had a single problem and eat here a few times a week! A must try

I’ve been a fan of the Chipotle in Rochester for years, and I’ve always wished we had one closer. So, when I heard they were opening a location in Winona, I was thrilled!
From the moment I walked in, I was impressed. The restaurant has a fresh, clean, and modern vibe that makes it feel inviting and comfortable. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and you could tell they were excited to be part of the community.
I’ve always loved the food at Chipotle, and the quality and flavor at this new location definitely lived up to my expectations. The ingredients were fresh, and everything tasted so vibrant. My burrito bowl was packed with the perfect balance of flavors. I went with the barbacoa, which was tender and full of flavor, and the salsas had just the right amount of spice without being too hot.
What I really appreciated was how quickly I was served. It was busy, but the line moved fast, and the employees were efficient while still being personable. Plus, they gave me a few extra chips (always a win!).
I also noticed they had an easy-to-use mobile order pickup station, which will definitely be handy for those days when I’m running between meetings. All in all, I’m so happy to have Chipotle in Winona now – it’s like having a taste of Rochester right here. I’ll definitely be back, and I highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a quick, flavorful, and fresh meal!

On the first day they opened in Winona, I had the pleasure of ordering through their app and it was promptly prepared for collection. The food, as I recall from my last visit a few years ago at a different location, is of excellent quality. I am pleased to note that the taste remains unchanged.

Ordered Chipotle through the app… it said it would be ready in 10-20 minutes, so I get there and am waiting for my food. 40 minutes pass by and my order isn’t ready. It took an hour for my food to come out and once I got it, there was missing items. They filled my to go box for my quesadilla with sour cream in every extra slot. It was everywhere and I didn’t ask for all of that. I got no rice with my entree and no beans like I had ordered. Was not a great experience at all.

Im not going to lie I was so excited to be able to have a Chipotle in winona I came from a big city with tons of choices and not being able to have the things im use to because I now live in winona minnesota really stinks so having a Chipotle makes my year hower the amount of meat I now am getting in my burrito has become sad when they first opened i had gone inside and watched them make my food the the proportions were perfect everything was great but as time has gone by and now that I order online and pick up at the window not watching them make my food the amount of meat has just gotten worse when I say that last time I literally had 9 pieces of steak in my burrito 9 !! That’s a little upsetting to me i hope you are able to correct this I dont know what else to do but make everyone aware of it other then that keep up the great work !!
