Disappointing Experience
I hadn’t been to this place in a while, and I was shocked by the prices. $18 for a bowl of guacamole and a tortilla (which was just rolled into a ball) feels a bit outrageous. Thankfully, I had a $5 gift card that helped ease the blow a little.
Unfortunately, the quality didn’t match the price. The meat had way too much fat, with hardly any actual meat to enjoy, and the lettuce was a bit brown, which I ended up picking out.
To top it off, the service was lacking. Everyone behind the counter had their backs turned to the guests, and the girl at the register was on her phone, which made for a rather awkward experience. I spent about 15 minutes just eating/observing and noticed several mistakes being made.
It was also disappointing to see that, even though they had just opened for the day, the tables were dirty, indicating that someone hadn’t done their job the night before. There were only about 8-10 people in the place, and it was clear that things weren’t being managed well.
Overall, I was left feeling underwhelmed and frustrated. I hope they can improve, but I’m not sure I’ll be back anytime soon.

Great Mexican food and friendly service. The flavors were authentic and everything was fresh. I’ll definitely come back!

I absolutely love the steak burritos but I have to say… the meat is always cold, the brown rice is very very salty. The flavor is excellent but they need to slow down on the salt and warm their meat better. I will keep coming back to see if they improved because I do enjoy the taste. I hope they get the salt under control. Thanks for reading. I hope your experience is a little better than mine

Chipotle: In the burrito battle of fast casual restaurants two names quickly come to mind, Qdoba and Chipotle. It’s honestly been years since I’ve had either, but I prefer Chipotle because I had it first. Back in my days at UW, my friends and I would hit up the State Street location, so it has a warm spot in my heart. The other reason I have to give the nod to Chipotle is I’m an RN and for National Nurse’s Appreciation Week, Chipotle treated us with vouchers for a free burrito (granted I did need to enter a lottery). My burrito was comprised of a warm flour tortilla, juicy steak, brown rice, black beans (have to get my fiber), flavorful fajita veggies, sour cream, and extra cheese. Those of you that are into really spicy foods (unlike me) might laugh at this, but I thought there was a bit of heat to the burrito. It was tough to pinpoint, but it may have come from the seasoning used for the steak or rice. Since I don’t come off as unthankful, I’m going to start with the good. The taste was fine and there was plenty of cheese. Since I’m on the smaller side, I was also able to get two meals out of it. Conversely, it was messy to eat (beans and rice continuously fell out), I couldn’t find any sour cream (which stinks because in theory it could have helped ameliorate the spiciness), the ratio of steak to rice is way off, and the ingredients were not evenly distributed throughout the burrito. I really want to say it’s Doughboy approved, but my personal opinion is that it was closer to just okay . Thanks for the free burrito!

Walked in the young lady greeted us with a smile and took our order. Then got to the topping station and it was absolutely filthy. The lady who rings up the orders came over to clean it while the guy was changing out containers that he tossed literally to the back then turned around with a horrible attitude. He was sloppy throwing the toppings on I just could not believe it. Then the cashier bagged my order and forgot my chips. Need to say I will not be going back. Very disappointed Chipotle!

Went in a before closing but they closed the drawer early. They said I had to order online so I had to wait until 10 mins before they closed to pick up my food. They don’t even stay open as advertised on the door. After placing our order online and grabbing our order she asked if it was a personal order and I replied “yess” and she shoved our bag at my face and gave unnecessary attitude. Once I got home I realized there was no napkins or forks.. not only that but they barely put any toppings on it. Mostly rice look at the photos.. never order online from chipotle. Get Qdoba instead. Thanks for the service small Hispanic girl. Entitled. Lazy. Bratty

Beware! They put plastic lids at the bottom of guacamole cups! I tried getting this fixed and got the run around with their automated system. No way to talk to an actual person. It’s already almost $10 for guacamole and now they pull this? Unbelievable.

I really like Chipotle, but… it was really bad today. Luckily the guacamole and chips were good…. or I would have made this review zero stars! Look at my pics. My daughter’s tacos were a MESS! They looked like a mutant burrito…. not three tacos. I got a Burrito Bowl with Garlic Guajillo Steak. The steak tasted like shoe leather. It was dry as a bone. Normally, I would recommend Chipotle Mexican Grill…. but not this time… I can’t. I will try them again…. Hopefully they just had a bad day.

The last two times I’ve ordered here there was a total of TWO peices of chicken in the entire bowl. Not only was there only two pieces, the pieces were hard, burnt and inedible. Tiny portions when I order online. Stale chips. Unacceptable for the prices. I’ll be going to the Kenosha location from now on.

They’re definitely not stingy with the food. The atmosphere is awesome. I just don’t care for the meat because I prefer ground turkey or beef, which they don’t have. My husband liked it a lot. Their tortilla chips omg yummy.
