Best meal I’ve had in a calendar year, hands down — I’m told this is the second largest collection of Whiskies in Colorado, Nate was incredibly enthusiastic, recommending what interested him.

Trip took care of us, and that brings me to the Espresso Rub Elk Loin: hands down the best meal I’ve had in a year. The bitterness and spice of the rub, slightly counteracted by the sweet huckleberry demi-glacé make for this enigma of a meal, our server Trip sung its praises and if stay for dinner there’s no other recommendation

Cozy and delightful dining spot overlooking the village base. The outdoor patio has a large fire table for apres dining or sit-in as you wish.

Farm to table concept with a great mix of small bites, salads, proteins, comfort foods… something for everyone really. I was eyeing the Wagyu steak but opted for the elk loin as it’s the Rockies after all! The bar selection of cocktails includes an impressive whiskey and bourbon curation as well as classic mixology, wine and beer.

I remembered this place from my previous visit and thought I would drop in after night ski. Very happy I did so — had the good fortune to come for their opening night of the season. In fact, I was surprised to learn this was the first night as the service was already impeccable and the food was fantastic. I also had a chance to meet the owner Scott on the way out the door, very nice guy. I can appreciate his attention to detail.

If you are hungry at the steamboat village base real estate, don’t think twice nor root around — this place goes the whole hog — worth pigging out!

I had an absolutely phenomenal experience at Truffle Pig in Steamboat Springs, and it’s hands-down a 5-star spot! Nestled right at the base of the ski area, the location is unbeatable—perfect for a post-slope meal or a cozy evening out. The atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between upscale and welcoming, with stunning views of Mount Werner and a lively patio that’s ideal for soaking in the mountain vibes.
The food was nothing short of spectacular. I tried the Truffle Pig Bacon Burger, and it might just be the best burger I’ve ever had—juicy Kobe beef, aged cheddar, and those famous truffle fries that live up to the hype with their crispy, flavorful perfection. The Mussels and Fries were another highlight, served in a cast-iron pot with a garlicky white wine sauce that I couldn’t get enough of. And the Baby Beet Salad? Fresh, vibrant, and beautifully balanced—a total treat for the senses.
The service was top-notch, with staff who were attentive, friendly, and clearly passionate about what they do. The cocktail menu is a standout too—creative and expertly crafted, with options like the Battle of the Agaves that paired perfectly with the meal. Truffle Pig nails every detail, from the farm-to-table ingredients to the warm, inviting vibe. It’s a must-visit in Steamboat Springs—I’m already looking forward to my next trip back!

Sham happy hour pricing and ownership not staffing for Apres hour. Ordered their Mule of the Day for $6 per the menu, and was charged $8 for no reason. Sat for 10 minutes before I grabbed someone and asked if they were my server. Only one server assigned to probably 50 people. Never heard good things about Truffle Pig and I definitely won’t be back. Also just usurping the Grateful Dead and then not being very Kind on price scams? Not Kind. Someone should report them for trademark infringement to the Dead.

Response to the owner. We were seated at 3:24 pm. 11 minutes later I grabbed the server and asked her if she was our server. You’re clearly lying about the surveillance time stamp. Also the fact that you’re trying to shame me about the $4 overage online (25% higher pricing than advertised) is an embarrassment. This was my first time here and a test. I obviously am happy to spend much more at an establishment which I enjoy, but I’ll never be back. I didn’t feel like waiting 15 minutes for your poor overstaffed server to refund the $4. My wife and I had enough and left as soon as possible.

An appropriate response would simply be yes we should staff more servers for happy hour, and honor honestly our advertised pricing, instead of attempting to shame clients online. You should look at this as an opportunity to improve not an online spin room. Every silver lining has a touch of grey.

Very fun menu, lots of options. The food was remarkable, but if you have kids with you the kids menu is very expensive and does not have great options. They would not bread a chicken breast, so if you have picky eaters this is not a spot for kiddos. I had the burger and it was super yummy. Service was nice. Thankfully they were open later than the other restaurant in the area.

We held our 2025 holiday party here and had the absolute best experience with a party of 20! Our entire team has continued to rave about the food and the service. From letting us have one big table, to the timing of each course to the temps on all the food (I had the salmon and it was freaking amazing) to the delicious desserts. Everything was perfect and Jessie was amazing (so was the team helping her). Literally 10/10.

Thank you for allowing us to have a great time and enjoy your delicious food. We will most definitely be back.

This is possibly one of the worst meals I’ve ever had. We had the $89 filet that was burnt to a crisp and had some sort of blackening seasoning on it. I had about four bites and couldn’t eat any more. The mashed potatoes (horseradish) were cold and without any flavor whatsoever. The bartender brought over some horseradish and said make it yourself. When we mentioned this to the bartender she just laughed and asked if wanted a free dessert. The dessert might have been about 3 months old.
I would recommend McDonald’s before eating here. Insanely over priced and bad service.
GO TO CAFE DIVA.

Visited Truffle Pig for dinner with my son.
It’s a very nice restaurant with great ambiance and decor. Appetizers were great. We tried foie gras and pig cheeks. Super. Amazing desert “chocolate Galaxy”
The main dishes were good not great. And kinda expensive. We had a great time.

Came with a group of 10, were greeted right away by our waiter who was very kind. Service was good and prompt. Everyone enjoyed their drinks and appetizers. However, I ordered the burger ($37) cooked medium. It came out completely raw with just a slight sear on it. I cut the burger in half to eat it, took about two bites before I realized that it was essentially raw ground beef that was falling out of the middle. People at the table noticed and I promised it was okay and I wasn’t going to say anything but once they saw it falling apart they called the waiter over to bring it to his attention. He was apologetic. The part where it gets a little odd for me is he brought over a side plate and told me to put the burger on that so he could bring it back to the kitchen. My friend said, no you should probably just take the whole plate back because now the rest of the food will be cold while she waits, please just reset the whole plate. I had no problem with them taking it back to redo it. But the next part that was weird to me was that when I got the food back, they had used the same exact burger patty- that I had already eaten off of, put that back on the grill where other people’s food will be cooked on, and just put it on a new bun. When someone who I assumed was the manager brought it back out there wasn’t an apology or anything, just set the plate down and said here you go. Just an odd way to handle that situation. Other people at the table also ordered meat which was cooked under than what they had asked for. Not sure if it was just the particular cooks that night. I just wish they handled it differently considering our tab was well over $1000.
