I’ve been a fan of Chipotle for a long time, but I’m starting to get really disappointed with the amount of meat they’re giving me. I ordered a burrito bowl today, and I was only given about 4 ounces of chicken. That’s not even enough meat for a regular-sized burrito, let alone a bowl.

Very poorly managed. They almost never have every item you want if you go after 5pm. I’ve walked in and they were out of cheese and corn… the corn salsa is made fresh every morning and the cheese comes in like 20lbs blocks. They’re either not ordering enough food or they’re not prepping enough, to be out of cheese is almost never heard of (I worked at chipotle). They never have crispy taco shells or 9 times out of 10 the shells are stale because they just throw them all in the same bin with no dates. I asked the lady which shells were made today and she didn’t know, she had to go ask a manager, the manager said they were all made today then of course one of my shells was stale. It was probably made a few days ago and they just gave it to me. Very poor and lazy management.

Oh boy. I don’t even know where to begin. No stars isn’t an option. Immediately walking in there’s a sign on the door that they aren’t accepting cards, cash only and exact change only. Understandable if the system is down to take card payments for orders. I placed my order online and hopped in line. Almost everyone before and after me was asking for more meat or double meat because of the amount of ingredients that were being added. I had a friend meet me there and I let him know to place his order online too. His order was to be ready by 7:40. We kept checking the pickup order spot to make sure we didn’t miss it. By 7:53 we noticed the order still hadn’t been made. I went up to the register and said that we’ve been waiting for an order. Mind you the person working the register had their air pods in and their phone propped up on the receipt printer on FaceTime. I have a photo but I will save it for when chipotle contacts me. I’m not that disrespectful to post a photo of them online without their knowledge. They proceeded to give attitude and be disrespectful. There were others waiting unhappy as well. The employees started rolling their eyes and saying thing like “uhh I swear to God”. The girl working in the back kept huffing and puffing. She has her headphones in as well. They made us feel as if we were a burden to them. I asked why the girl in the back had a problem with why I was upset. They put everything in the bag with attitude. We “had our order made” and we left. Upon getting home we open the bag but it’s the wrong order. It has the same first name but the ticket says doordash all over it. We go back and the person on the cash register is again upset to see us. We learned that we were speaking to the manager and we said after all that they still managed to give us the wrong order. I explained that this was handled so poorly and that I’m upset mostly with the level of disrespect. She said they were disrespectful because I yelled at them. I honestly had nothing left to say. I couldn’t even argue because there wasn’t a point anymore. She said that all of this was because they had a lot of online orders. I tried to explain that ive been watching and it’s an increase of online orders because they weren’t accepting cards. Not a combination of a busy lobby and online orders. I was in there for 30 mins eating and I watched how busy they were. They were definitely steady but not overwhelming busy there were brief times they didn’t have a line. Meanwhile they had employees chatting with each other at the tables near the restrooms. The garbages hadn’t been emptied or there just wasn’t a container and the dining room hadn’t been swept. My guac had two stems from the avocado in it but I feel it’s just so irrelevant at this point. Everyone always starts at a 5. Technically I should be giving 4s. A 5 star is above and beyond. I don’t have bad reviews almost ever and this takes the cake.

I don’t know where to begin…..half way through ordering my food, one of the workers yells out that their system just went down and they can’t accept cards. Good thing I had cash! Then, I get to the register to checkout and I was charged $15.41 for three chicken & cheese tacos…after I said that’s ridiculous and I’m not paying that, the worker told me he didn’t disagree, but he doesn’t make up the prices. The worker I was speaking to had a smirk on his face the entire time and the girl ringing up the orders was laughing the entire time. I’m not sure what was so funny, but it just came off as rude. I was starving, so I said screw it and sat down to eat and as I opened the foil my tacos were in, they were cooked to the foil so bad that I couldn’t even separate the taco from the foil. I took my food back up to the register for a refund. Awful experience/customer service. I will not go back to this location, ever!

I’ve never experienced such horrible and disgusting service!!! A young guy making my burrito was playing games over my food!!! Instead of bringing the tomatoes and cheese to the serving station he’s carrying it around in his hands spilling juices all on the floor. Laughing and giggling. The other servers were joking with him. The manager didn’t stop the behavior but excused by saying ” oh its your first day “.

Food is always consistent with them. Staffing issues caused them to only do app and web orders yesterday.. I did have to wait a few minutes longer than promised but no big deal, they were all busy on the line. One guy was wiping down surfaces with a cleaner too. update 2-7-23 around 530pm food was great, girls on the line were nice.

I like Chipotle, or did. This was real bad. Southlake mall location is trash, at least today. Employees were nice, but food was not. Burnt food in foil and out of over half ingredients ordered. They just made the order anyway and said call corporate to complain if you want.
