We have been going to chinnar from past 3-4 years. Everytime our experience only gets better and better. We have held numerous events in the past with 50-60 people and every time guests have nothing but to good things to say about the place and food. Recently we just hosted an event for my daughter’s first birthday. We had about 65 people for this party. Newly renovated Chinnar is more spacious and was able to accommodate 65 people with a dancing area without any issue. The owner was extremely helpful and personally made sure that all the guests are taken care of. All around a great event and a HUGE KUDOS to Chinnar management and staff. I will absolutely host another event here. Thank you for taking care of us and making our event quite memorable.

I came here when I was traveling for work on someone’s recommendation. I was doing a very low carb diet at the time and they were incredibly accommodating. They gave me lots of recommendations.
I ended up going with the Lamb Tikka Masala which was delicious. It has a bit of heat, but it was the perfect amount. It is typically served with naan and rice, but because of my diet, I got it without them.
The service was incredibly fast and very friendly. I would definitely go back again!

The menu looked scintillating so we planned to try this restaurant. Food was served hot but the appetizers need to improve. There was absolutely no salt in the cut chili and no taste in the non veg platter. It didn’t match our expectation at all. Main course was better and as requested spicy. The server did a good job being alone and managing 3 tables by herself.

We celebrated our daughter’s 1st birthday here… The food was amazing… Everything was made fresh and we didn’t need to worry if the food was over or if our guests were taken care of… The waiters kept filling the empty trays with more food…The owners gave personal attention to everything.

We hosted a party for 70 people during lunch. Owner greeted us at the door and offered drinks while we waited for the guests to arrive. Accommodating is not enough to describe the attention we received. And the meal was delicious and presentation far exceeded the expectation. A definite must if you are nearby. All the guests loved every item that was served. True Indian food with incredible hospitality. Thank you for making our event so special.

Great food. First time was great. We then went to other places around and the experiences were not so good. SO we went back to Chinnar! Friendly people family owned. Helpful with menu- spice level to your liking. I had questions about menu. Were helpful. I just remember the numbers I had. Number 4 to start- Anna had the chicken marinated in cream cheese moist and oh my good! I had 73 for my main- First time was SO good I will have again. Gulab Jamun for dessert. Yummy. Sweet if you never had it before. Portions good. Priced well. We will go back and use open table. Thank you for a pleasurable meal to make up for all the bad experiences.

Family-owned Indian restaurant, and the owners were quite personable. The food was fairly authentic and in line quality-wise with Indian food that I’ve tried in the UK. However, even when I asked for the food to be “very spicy, Indian spicy” it came out very mild. If you are looking for spice, Chinnar will disappoint.

Hidden gem on Swedesford Rd. This is THE best Indian restaurant in the area. We used to go to Taste of India, but the consistency of flavor had diminished. So we tried Chinnar again(under new ownership) and it is excellent! Great service; clean, friendly atmosphere and the food- just plain EXCELLENT! If you like or crave Indian cuisine, you will not be disappointed. This is my go to Indian spot- try the Lamb Tikka Masala(Indian spicy!)

What fantastic caterers! The food was simply incredible. I went to a wedding and the food was delicious. They were working the party they were all but invisible as they bustled through the crowd and kept everything perfectly clean, fresh, and beautiful. There were around 250-300 people & everyone was delighted by the food. I would absolutely hire Chinnar for catering. I loved how responsive and professional they were, but you really can’t beat their delicious food.

Went to Chinnar last night. Service was excellent and so was the food. Had Two children with us and they were not used to the spices, after mentioning to the staff they quickly brought it to the kitchen and adjusted the spice and it was Great. The kids loved it and we will definitely be back again.
