I come up to Monroe Michigan every once and a while to get some devil’s lettuce. And as a vegan there isn’t much for me. Luckily China Wok Restaurant of Monroe always saves the day! The bean curd human style is absolutely delicious! Highly recommend.

Fried rice is just plain white rice smothered with soy sauce. No vegetables in the rice. I ordered a dinner combo for lunch time to get fried rice. They have a up charge of $2.95 for fried rice on the lunch combos. So why not get a dinner with egg roll too I thought. Can’t believe they call that fried rice. Egg roll was just cabbage with no flavor. Where’s Chinese food I’ve ever had.

Ordered sesame chicken combo and the chicken was soggy and tasted like they cooked it in old grease. When I called and respectfully let them know that something was off, the lady argued with me that I didn’t know how sesame chicken should taste and hung up in my face. Will never go back and would not recommend.

Outstanding Chinese food. One of my 2 favorites in Monroe area. Good portions and good prices. Friendly employees. I would suggest phoning your order in ahead. They can be busy and usually about a 20-minute wait for walk-ins. You can dine in or carry out. I like the Chicken fried rice and egg rolls.

They used to be pretty good but the last time I went was my last time no more vegetables in their rice and no broccoli in the three orders of generals chicken will be finding a new place to order from.

Do NOT waste your money! I paid almost 30 for one meal and crab Rangoon. It was so nasty, I couldn’t even finish it. Save your money!! The cooking area looked not very clean and the food tastes like it was cooked in a place not very clean.

We spent, $60 there for three people in February 2023 the egg rolls were so old they were dark gray and slimy and we bought eight of them and had to throw them away, our meals were dried out and old it was horrible, it’s been going downhill for the past couple years now but it’s worse than ever, we’re done not going back ever again. When the old owners had it we loved it been going there since it’s been open, it’s a shame that we don’t want to go there anymore. Now we’re going to be driving to point place and go into that one, they’re extremely nice people and their food is fresh and their prices are much better.
