Been coming here my whole life so figured I should leave a review. Literally think I’ve been coming here since I was 12 and here I am still coming 20 years later. Always the best food. I travel for work and haven’t found anything better. Kelly is always great and funny with a big personality and feels like family. She’s always asking about my parents and vice versa. I’ve lived in STL the last few years but glad to live back in the area again to enjoy this amazing food

This was my second visit to China Wok. It is a family owned and operated business and it was nice seeing Kelly again. The snow storm had complicated the operation of the restaurant that day so our phone in order was delayed from its estimated time. I think Kelly was more upset about this than we were. While waiting I noticed a lot of repeat customers. The food was great and we will be back.

Tiniest pieces of unidentifiable chicken bits in both chicken and broccoli and chicken and green bean dishes. Vietnamese spring rolls were not good. We were very disappointed, and the charge was $45.50, hardly cheap. Also, the owner kept yelling across the room, having a long conversation with customers at the other end of the room. We couldn’t talk to each other over her. Bring cash if you eat here, they charge a 3% credit card charge, luckily we had cash.

Kelly is so friendly. She gets to know her customers, and always asks how the family is doing. And the food is always spot on. But, I do miss their buffet.

I had the fresh spring rolls with Hoisin sauce and they were a treat. These rolls were filled with fresh cut pork and shrimp, stuffed with crisp vegetables and herbs that paired perfectly with the sauce.
The owners are always friendly and diligent. They are determined to make sure you are getting the peak flavor experience. I’ve seen them turn away orders when they were super busy as it would have sacrificed quality. If you order to go they work hard to time your order to arrival time so nothing sits under a heat lamp.
I’ve had the pho before as well and it a delight. There are only a few Vietnamese items on the menu but each one I’ve tried has been prepared to perfection.

The absolute BEST Chinese food I have ever had. The Vietnamese menu is incredible as well. The woman who owns it is amazing and I look forward to seeing her every time I go. So much flavor and fresh ingredients! I will not get Chinese/Vietnamese food from anywhere else!
