Pleasantly surprised! We were in Troy while moving across country and saw China Town and decided to try it. It was fresh hot and delicious. Very busy but we got our food quickly and some of the best we’ve had across 8 states.

We frequent this place at least once a week and we highly recommend it. We have never got the wrong order it is always correct. Our only complaint is they no longer have Egg foo young. Everyone is super nice and attentive. It is always busy but you never have to wait too long. It is located behind O’Reilly Auto Parts in the same shopping center as Piggly Wiggly. This is a bonus if I forget to call in our order because I can shop at one of the stores in the strip.

This family owned and run restaurant has been around for years. The freshly cooked food is consistently great with generous portions and low prices. You will always be treated kindly and get your food quickly. Primarily a take-out place, there is plenty of room for dine-in. This restaurant is a local favorite.

The foods texture was as if it was reheated in the microwave multiple times. It was hard and didn’t have much flavor. The egg rolls are small and flavorless(besides onion). The rice is also flavorless and hard and cold and didn’t have anything in it. The crab rangoons are the worst I’ve ever had. They don’t even have crab in it and are not in any way sweet. They were soggy, had almost no filling and tasted like straight onions.

First time trying this place and it was good!! The staff was super kind and you can even see into the back (which was super clean) and overall just a good experience. The food came out quick and was super fresh, you can even see the cooks in the back flipping the wok which is really cool. Definitely a great place to stop if you’re looking for some good Chinese food.

If you want to renew your hope and appreciation for work ethic, effort, and commitment to task, you will find no better place on the planet than this ChinaTown restaurant. I’ve lived in troy for 5+ years now and these guys have consistently put out good, hot, fresh food seemingly nonstop. Seriously, just go in, sit and watch these guys for a while. It’s amazing how much food they get out, and how well they do it. I’ve been eating here for years, and will continue to do so for years to come. thank you China Town!
