I haven’t come here in a while because of all the road work on university but I’m happy to say they are consistent as ever. The food was ready very quickly for what was a large order, the staff is always friendly and the portion sizes are good for the price. The chicken wings are a highlight for me and my husband.

When I first arrived, I thought the place was closed, but I took a chance and went in. It looks like the place is getting ready for relocation, but the manager assured me they weren’t moving. The egg rolls were pretty good, wantons were ok, but the chicken was by far the worst chicken I’ve ever had from a restaurant. I know Chinese restaurants use fillers in their chicken for whatever reason, which is gross to begin with, but I had large pieces of “chicken” that didn’t actually have any chicken in them at all. The ones that did, the meat was very low quality. Chicken shouldn’t be chewy. I cannot recommend this restaurant and will not be ordering from them again.

For starters, the guy that answered the phone was very nice and respectful. My meal was $13 and Im very satisfied. You get an entire tray of entree and a carton of rice. When I went to go pick up my order the guy was very cool! I hate I haven’t tried this place sooner but out of all the other Chinese restaurants with General Tso chicken this was my favorite! 5/5

I have lived in Oxford for 13 years and for some reason I haven’t had China Royal since I first moved here, but tonight I was in the mood for Chinese take out and this place was AMAZING! Affordable, fresh, and really fast with great service!!! The best sweet and sour chicken I’ve ever had and such big portions of food even in the pint sizes!!! Highly recommend!!!!!

i got general tso chicken and the curry chicken for $25. tons of food and will feed me for this week and its so delicious! customer service was good. they also have a section of the menu that seems more tailored for people on diets which i thought was creative and nice!
