My sisters and I had lunch here recently and it was a wonderful meal. The portions were extremely generous and the food was fresh & delicious. The customer service was excellent and we all felt very comfortable and relaxed after a very hectic morning at the office. I highly recommend China Kitchen!

Let me start off with saying I haven’t had this place sense I moved away from redding in 2017, I’m visiting family and this was my first place I went to out to eat. It still taste just like I remember. I always get the combo #C, the egg foo young is very tasty, the rice is cooked great and the chow mein is just right, my daughter loves the crab puffs and I usually end up getting a second order just for her.

The folks there were very nice, and the restaurant was cozy and inviting. And the food was SO GOOD! Everything was absolutely delicious, and arrived from the kitchen fresh and warm. We enjoyed the food we ordered. The food was hot, fast, and the service was courteous. We did a walk in order and got our food to go. The restaurant itself is small and outdated, but that didn’t affect our experience. The items we ordered were simple as were our expectations. We had the Wor Wonton Soup, House Fried Rice, and Crab Cheese puffs. The food we’ve had at other “Chinese” restaurants in town has been bad lately, so we thought we’d try another place and we happy with what we got. I’d try it again.

The fried rice on the combo meal was terrible, unseasoned, no chicken or veggies in chicken fried rice? The server was incredibly rude when we mentioned it wasn’t good and took it personally. She seemed to be mad to do her job. It was overall a really bad experience, customer service was awful and food was mediocre at best. The combo plate was awful. The table next to us got a combo meal taken off there bill because of the same reason but when we asked they were incredibly rude. when we proceeded to use the bathroom before we left we walked out to them blatantly talking about how “we were pigs, loud, and should’ve told them sooner” The bathroom was disgusting, health department needs to visit badly. The tables were sticky and gross, and it smelled like it hadn’t been cleaned properly in months. overall it’s a disgrace to restaurants in general. Can’t believe this place is allowed to be open still. I’m appalled at the terrible customer service and directly confrontational management. 5 of the people at our table work in food industry and take pride in it, we all agreed we were thoroughly disappointed and frankly upset with the way we were treated.
