I got the House special Lo Mein and Won Ton soup. None of it had much flavor due to no MSG in it. The quality of the food was just good enough but nothing special. Based on this I doubt I would recommend

Dined there on 6/2/21. The food had good ingredients, but was very bland. The sauces in the entrées had no taste and the soup broth tasted like hot water. I will probably give the restaurant another try before writing them off.

I am not writing a review about the food, because my wife and I have been there several times and the food is quite wonderful. I am writing a review on the guy who works behind the counter (I don’t remember is name). Since I can’t really make it over there to pickup a menu, I asked him if he can fax a copy of the menu and he said yes. Well he needs to learn how to use a fax machine or have someone else do it. Because he doesn’t know what he is doing. His people skills are about as useful as him operating a fax machine. I don’t think I have ever seen him smile, once. He’s probably related to the owner, because I can’t imagine why anyone else would keep him on as an employee!!! He is so incompetent!!!!

The menu online is NOT the restaurant’s actual menu. I ordered a quart of egg drop soup for $2.40 but got a pint of soup for $3.35. It was room temperature, which is odd because I have never had soup from any Chinese restaurant that was any cooler than molten lava. When I called to place my order, I asked if the chicken and broccoli was boneless fried chicken and the guy sighed and said, “It’s SAUTEED” like that was the dumbest question he’d ever heard. I asked if they had boneless fried chicken with vegetables and he said they had “boned fried chicken that is fried” (Did you guys know that fried chicken is fried??). When I picked up my order he asked if I wanted a menu and I said, “No thanks, I found it online” and he was like “That is not my menu online.” Seems like if he knows that he should tell people when they call to place orders so they aren’t misled like I was. Oh, and after a glance at the menu, I saw that they do serve boneless fried chicken with vegetables. Not a pleasant experience.

Ordered off their online menu and when I went to go pick up and pay, the bill was doubled than what I counted online. When I asked why the bill was so high the owner pulled out a menu and began adding up the totals. I told him this menu was different than the one online and he told me that he didn’t have a menu online. We went back and forth like this several times till I got fed up, pulled out my phone and showed him that yes in fact he did have a menu online. He then looked at me with a smart ass smirk on his face, said he didn’t have a menu online after I had clearly proven that he did, then read out my doubled total for me. I paid it, the food was ok but I definitely won’t be going back. That smart ass prick pissed me off
