Ordered online. Also I almost never complain. But I’ve eaten plant based meat that was better quality meat than this. Order Szechuan beef or anything beef and you will be just as concerned. I guess it’s beef that was boiled in tiny strips??? So gross I’m broke and gonna have to throw it away. Also this would’ve deserved its own review n it’s own, the general tso chicken was a soggy clump of breading w a syrup up to the rim. Start pulling it apart and it’s almost all breading. At least you can tell it’s real chicken. The crab Rangoon were those soft sacks of cream cheese and the spring rolls were fried even though I thought I ordered fresh. This place doesn’t hold a candle to the old crest wood mall food court Chinese foods i bought were trash.

Really tasty food! My entree didn’t come with the rice listed on the menu, but I honestly didn’t want it so I didn’t ask to have it added after the fact. I had the crispy golden shrimp, wonton soup, and a shrimp egg roll. My friend enjoyed his General Tso’s chicken and egg roll. It’s a basic, no frills Chinese restaurant with eight or ten tables. Bathrooms were clean and well-stocked. Would return to this location in the future.

When I saw people talking about rude service and a kid running the register, I knew the food was about to be fire. It didn’t disappoint. Classic chinese comfort food for a low price, huge portions, and hot and fresh. Really satisfied my craving!

I have been a customer for 10 years, never had issues. Today was an exception. I placed my order to the 8 year old non employee and asked for sauce with my order and was charged 1 dollar for it. Ok..what ever, then while waiting I used the sticker machine to get one for my kid. It didn’t work so I politely asked for my money back and was treated with disrespect like I was in the wrong and was sent out of the store. If you know me I am not disrespectful.

Really enjoyed the food. The orange chicken and veggie lo mein was amazing! Shout out to the “young lady” working the pickup counter. She really runs a tight ship!

Don’t listen to any of the bad reviews. My boyfriend and I moved nearby this place and eat here at least once a week. It’s the best chinese food I’ve had in all of STL. And the family that works there is so kind/easy to talk to. Our favorite is the sesame chicken and veggie stirfry

Affton neighborhood restaurant has been around for years, so they must be doing something right. The restaurant is currently NOT dine in since Covid. They are takeout only. The old seating area is used for storage and looks like…well, messy. But you’re there for the food, right? Enjoy.

Ordered online (01/08/2023). Got Roast Beef Low Mein. Was not good. Beef was a weird red color and had an odd smell to it. Fried rice had an odd taste to it. Threw it all away.

This is the BEST place for Chinese food and good friendly service! The shrimp egg rolls are the best I’ve tasted and I’ve been to a lot of other Chinese restaurants’ shrimp egg rolls! None taste as good as China Garden’s shrimp egg rolls. I also usually order, fried baby shrimp, sauteed vegetables, shrimp with garlic sauce, vegetable egg foo young (minus baby corn and water chestnuts), General Tso shrimp, vegetable fried rice (minus baby corn), shrimp with lobster sauce, shrimp Mei Fun and fried donuts. Whatever I am in the mood for, I have never been disappointed.

Note: This review has been taken down multiple times, so I wouldn’t trust the reviews for this restaurant. Possibly the worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had in my life. Lady at the front messed up my order, put beef in my fried rice when I specifically stated it was for vegetarians, then screamed at me when I asked for the correct item. I have never been actually screamed at by a restaurant owner in my life and I won’t be going back. Food was pretty bad too, flavorless and gross.
