This is the closest chinese place to my house so I’m a frequent regular. Some dishes are better than others I’ve learned through experience but the ones they get right are great. They always cook the food fresh so if they’re busy sometimes it’s a longer wait time but it’s worth it to have hot food. I tend to ask for no veggies or only certain items in the comments section when I order ahead on the website (only downside is you can’t pay online only in store which isn’t too bad) because sometimes they’ll give you a LOT of veggies. My favorites are the teriyaki chicken sticks that are technically appetizers but I get with a pint of egg drop and crunchy noodles and make it a dinner. They’re sesame chicken is the best in my opinion the sauce is the perfect balance of sweet and savory I always get white rice to tone the sauce down and it balances perfectly. The pineapple chicken is similar to the sesame chicken but slightly sweeter and with pineapple I also get that with white rice. Their lo mein is pretty good it has a brown sauce which I like since most places have a white sauce but it comes with a lot of veggies so beware. All in all if you’re in the area I recommend I’ve only had a small amount of subpar experiences with them in the years I’ve been coming to them.

I usually order the vegetable lo mein and egg drop soup which is always pretty decent. Not the best I’ve ever had, but good. Make sure they’re actually open when you place an online order though. I made an online order today during business hours (Wednesday 11:20am) which went through, drove 20 minutes to get there, and they were closed….

Another McDonalds of the chinese food world… rubbery eggroll, greasy chicken… I don’t even know how to describe the gravy but my 4 yr old hated it but she likes it from kwong tung in shelby. Everything was extra salty and extra greasy. I gave 2 stars only because the staff was nice.

I have been coming here for awhile, and the food is always piping hot, fresh, and very delicious. Today I decided to try their curry chicken with little spice…new favorite dish. It was so flavorful, with just a hint of spice. I will definitely be ordering that again. Also the dumplings are so good that me, my Dad, and sister fight over who gets the last one.

The food seems rushed and bland anymore. The estimated time for your order is usually (always for myself) off by about 20 minutes to an hour so be ready for that. Service itself doesn’t seem to have any negatives (haven’t encountered any outright rudeness). Stay away from their website and just call unless you want your order to just never have existed. Waited 20 minutes for my food before they told me it got lost and i had to wait for someone else to come in and make it. An hour later I try to eat it and it’s the most tastless garbage ever. We ordered 5 different kinds of chicken and only one had any taste. Such a disappoint that has been slowly getting worse for years. And it was all so cold. I live 4 minutes away and somehow ended up with cold food that they just “cooked” while I was waiting.

Had the sweet and sour chicken and the almond boneless chicken as take out. While the food was good, there was only one container of rice for the two dinners. Shouldn’t there be one for each? Also, the man in the phone who took the order was super rude. Very short when talking to me and had an attitude. My boyfriend went to pick it up and said the man was acting the same way towards him as well. I like that this location is close to my house and better than Leong’s, but I don’t like the rudeness. Maybe it was just a bad day for the employee. Will try again sometime and be optimistic.
