The delivery experience was frustrating. The driver did not speak English, which made communication difficult. They refused to deliver the order directly to my apartment door, even though I had already paid a tip. I had to go downstairs to meet them. This was inconvenient and disappointing.

My order was very simple… Half chicken with pork fried rice and scallion pancakes with a side of chicken lomein. The rice was defenitley recycled i gave a taste to my son and we both agree it was awefull i make better fried rice. My fried half chicken was so over cooked, the meat was hard as cardboard and very dry my son compared it to beef jerky. When i placed my order was taken and left to wonder about 2 things why was the cook still sitting down counting receipts. They left this kid to cook the order who did a terrible job the scallion pancakes were loaded with grease as well. Too bad i threw the rest of the food out or i would have put up a picture 27 wasted dollars

Ordered shrimp with garlic sauce got chicken with garlic sauce. Fried wonton were very hard almost brunt. The rice was good and fries with chicken nuggets were good will not order again. The only good thing besides what I said was fast service and polite delivery person.

I’ve been a loyal customer to China Chef and I’ve always enjoyed their food and service. My last visit to this eatery made me never want to go back again. When it comes to customer service and health, the staff members at China Chef could care less about the people that support their business. Last time I ordered food at this restaurant, I stood there and waited for it and I noticed how ill mannered it was prepared. A male staff member dropped multiple pieces of food from my container on a counter, picked it up with his hands and slapped it back into my container to serve me. I do not know where his hands have been or what has been dropped on the counter where my food was also dropped. Not to mention, the attitude of the women cashier was very rude before this food preparation occurred. I paid for the food but kindly asked if they would prepare another one for me because of the gross way my food was handled and they denied. I was not asking for a refund nor for more food, I just wanted my food to be prepared in a cleaner manner and they did not do as such. My experience was so heinous, I did not get my money back and I did not get the food. I will not be returning there again. I will also spread the word of how the China chef staff handles the food and treats their customers.

Extremely unpleasant, unprofessional, arrogant service. The customer is not priority for this horrible excuse of a business. Female host/worker very dismissive and not willing to work with long time customers over order mistakes so they’ve lost business from here on out. The food was mediocre at best, which must be why I rarely saw more than 2 people in the place at once.
