Most of the food I tried was Luke warm at best. Bathrooms are pretty disgusting, the whole outside of the bathroom door is sticky like someone smeared general tso sauce all over it. Staff was friendly and quick to clean tables. Wouldn’t come back. Ever. Was very grossed out by food and didn’t eat much.

not recommend. The food was dry and tasted old/stale, appearance of food was horrible. It looked just as bad as it tasted. After finishing one tiny plate(I had already paid) I went into the bathroom, it was the grossest toilet if ever laid eyes on especially for being a restaurant!
We had to pay first in order to get in and we couldn’t see the food being that the food was towards the back of the building. All in all, I got food poisoning from this place, it was the only food I had before becoming so sick I couldn’t even stand.

This place was cool when we walked in but it was definitely very very dirty. The tables were all sticky and dirty the ceiling vents were black. Very dimly lit. Me and my whole family got sick after eating here. Just don’t go.

I would say most of everything I got to eat was good. We came right at opening. The only thing I did not like was the lo mein because it had a weird coffee/burnt taste to it. The rice noodles, mushroom chicken, and chicken and broccoli was my favorite.

The food was very good, my first time ever eating here i had gotten some cold food put of the buffet but it was u unstable I was there at a bad time and it was busy. But anyway I brought it up to the server and the owners themselves brought me fresh hot food and then discounted my bill for my entire family. Excellent food! Also the family that operates the restaurant truly cares for the Detroit lakes community and are just simply spectacular all around. Is there a way to give more than five stars I would in a heartbeat. I definitely recommend you check them out if you haven’t and if you have check them out again.

We have gone to China Buffet a few times. We have always had quick and courtesy service. The price for the buffet is reasonable compared other places we have been too and has a nice variety. The food is warm, but can be slightly bland.
