One of the worst hot dogs I’ve had in a very long time. quality has gone down sense my first time … I ordered a hot dog with relish ketchup and mustard and one chilly dog, I opened up my regular dog right as I got to my car to find out it was a watery soggy bun with a undercooked dog took two bites and threw it away… the chili dog was the exactly the same. Stand is in San Marcos, TX, and it is an iconic place. Serves delicious hot dogs, prepped when you order so always hot and fresh. Also have sausage wraps and are just as good as the hot dogs. Parking is limited. If you want to dine there and you have to realize, it is close to a busy intersection.

Passing by the neighborhood and saw this stand. They were 5min past closing time and the sweet lady still served us their chili dogs and it was such a good snack after work . Will be coming again thank you!

After years of enjoyment, the love affair continues. The best chili dogs around. The hotdog doesn’t taste like bologna and the chili has never given me heartburn. Every time I’m in San Marcos, I can’t resist the temptation. Customer service is great too.
