Beautiful, kid and dog friendly outdoor dining. Inside is fun and beautiful too. They have a large lot, and leverage the back for fun events and hosting. They will be opening up for breakfast/coffee/lunch; hoping to add the 3rd place vibe for folks to come work and spend their days there. They have a bar, music set up, and nice tent. They host baseball game viewing, parties, and anything else you can think off. This is all a bonus…the food is delicious. And the people are warm.
We made a reservation, but it seems you can show up and get a table without one on most nights.
The menu is interesting and unique. Tasty dishes served family style. Cool blending of genres. We got the Dan Dan Noodle (delicious with some peanut sauce), Fries Chinese Bomb Style (lovely fries with chilis and green, Brûlée Char Su (delicious bbq pork toro – Smokey and sweet taste), Black Pepper Prawns (head-on prawns with delicious rich taste), and steamed rice. The team also noticed our young kid, and brought them some pineapple as a treat. They also brought out a metal water bowl for our pup. We were welcomed to explore the space, and met the team. They shared more and more of their amazing Chifa. They will do a Jamaican menu swap next Sunday…blending their Michelin winning chef, and a long term guest’s Jamaican mother’s family recipes. So cool!
Parking on the street was available! Kind of a strange intersection adjacent to the restaurant. Look for the green wall; the restaurant is there next to the right hand turn lane before the intersection as you travel east.
Love the food, especially the short ribs and scallop crudo. Love the Chacha chicha (mixed with Peruvian drink with rum). Love the pavlova.
This place is boldly decorated with colors that could take your breath away. It’s passionate, fun, delicate.
