My dad, sister, and I will from time to time dine here. This is one of my dad’s favorite places to eat. He continuously wants to return. The business is locally owned and operated with many local people dining here. Most people conversate with each other and the owners while enjoying the dining experience. The restaurant does have a buffet for a quick lunch. Food is great, service is great, and atmosphere has always been a pleasant one from my experience…I definitely recommend you check them out if you are in the area and need a meal.

The food was ok, it wasn’t what I expected from what I had others from others. Most of the food seemed to be bought instead of home cooked, which was disappointing, and it was bland. It wasn’t even 1°clock on Sunday & they had run out of dessert. As I’m leaving, the owner was standing right at the door & never thanked me for coming, asked me to come back, nothing, never acknowledged me? It cost right at $30 for me & my wife and I just don’t think I’ll be back, at least for the Sunday buffet. I’m about 2nd chances & supporting local businesses, especially new ones. I may try eating off the menu another time, but this time wasn’t the best experience.

Ordered my food the were out of half of what I ordered . Told then nevermind then this older white haired lady cooking comes out to inform me she had started cooking the part of my order she had and I couldn’t cancel my order. I would advise you not to eat there they are rude . I’ll never eat there again. I rather starve than give them any business ever again if I could give then 0 stars thats what they would have got. Took forever to get my food and it taste extremely bad threw it away wouldn’t feed it to my dog .

1 waitress and 1 cook. Instead of the waitress bringing our sauce and tea when we asked for it, she went to clean a table. After 5 minutes i got up to go get it and she said she has to look for bbq sauce. Proceeds to clean table . We were the only people in there at this time. Good hamburgers and fries. They offer a small buffet during lunch hours and have meat and vegetable meals on the menu. Also available is a small salad bar that I have ordered several times that has been fresh although limited on offerings. Pleasant staff and have always been courteous and attentive. I always visit at least once when I’m in Ripley and plan to go again soon.

Great Ripley restaurant. Lunch buffet or enjoy a meal from the menu. If you are a Reuben sandwich lover, give them a try served on fancy rye bread and can order with extra kraut.
