While traveling in Allentown, we were suggested to try this place out. The host/owner of the restaurant was so friendly and welcoming. Also the kitchen is in the middle of the restaurant in open view with counter seating so it was cool to see the food being prepared. I ordered the ribeye steak sandwich and it was great. I would go back if I am in the area and I also suggest it for larger parties as well.

Immediately you will notice the artwork. Chicken paintings of various sorts are all over the wall. It is truly unique. The server went over and beyond while serving our tables. The nachos were delicious. My Hawaiian chicken was excellent. I was told that the pumpkin cheesecake was amazing. The pumpkin spice was spicing. Everyone enjoyed everything they ate. You have got to try this place.

So much to say here… Let’s start with the name of the place.
The Chicken Lounge… Really? Improperly named, the first thing we are told is that they are known for they’re burgers!?! Very little chicken even on the menu!!!
As for an atmosphere, it’s quite the unique little place and personally I feel has a lot of potential. However, it’s run like a cheap diner so you should plan to be there a while before your food is even cooked.
I ordered the Allentown chicken sandwich without sauce (I just can’t do horseradish). The waitress was very friendly and helpful. However, the cook still poured horseradish mustard sauce all over the sandwich. When she brought it out she apologized. Naturally, I had to send it back. However, I literally watched the cook (who apparently is also the manager) rinse the chicken off in the sink, coat it with more Montreal steak seasoning and throw it back on the grill… Do I need to say more?
Avoid this place at all cost! Low quality food of a greasy spoon, service as slow as molasses, and it is obvious they just do not care. Needless to say we will never be back nor hopefully anyone who reads this review. If I could review with negative stars I would!

The nostalgia of the Chicken Lounge still stands, along with their famous nachos. Those haven’t changed taste in years! The wings are still tasty, just not as meaty. The service was so-so, but we enjoyed our time to chat and hangout.

The chicken used to be good but the menu desperately needs an overhaul. Nachos are no longer worth it as they now charge $20 for a paper plate of microwaved Doritos and cheese stuck together.

This place is really cute and I love the inside the staff was nice and funny I had great interactions here however I ordered a regular cheeseburger and I order my burgers well done no pink inside it was completely pink and flavorless hours later I felt sick and had a bad stomach ache for hours I hate to give negative reviews but just avoid this place the food is cheap at a cost

Superbowl weekend……had a need for some quality nachos when someone suggested the chicken lounge had a great recipe using DORITOS of all things…I had to investigate.
The large size was 12.29 on the online menu and that sounded just right…the person on the other end of the line said “oh they are only one size now and that’s 20.00, but you get alot”…shocked as i was to hear this massive discrepancy, I had already talked myself into ordering this appetizer that was supposedly fantastic…
What I received for my 20 bills was a massive disappointment to say the least….a plate of Doritos for sure but the cheese was all on one side and whomever microwaved this mess decided to use a paper plate which was then cooked to the chips. The peppers and sour cream they included on the side we’re barely enough for a few bites. Now mind you ….this was twenty dollars WITHOUT MEAT OF ANY KIND….chicken is extra….lol…amazing.
