Amazing food and vegan friendly! It’s decorated nicely and has great small desserts to choose from. It is quite pricey though, most meals including sandwiches can price up to $16! I recommend the Nutella filled popover (yes it’s in the kids meal but it’s cheap ) and the lavender lemonade is SOMETHING ELSE ITS SO GOOD!!

I eat at Popovers every time I visit my daughter, her husband and kids. I went today with my husband and 2 and 5 year old grandchildren. Today and every time I have been there every staff member is kind and great at their job. They have amazing consistent great food and an affordable children’s menu too. One of my favorite places to eat.

I planned a brunch for 16 people and it turned out to be 26 people. Popovers’ manager made every effort to service this large group in a professional and timely manner. The food was outstanding! Many of us were from out of town and had never had a popover. It was a pleasant experience all around. Thank you for accommodating us. It was the perfect wrap up to my daughters wedding.

My children and I ate here back in October and had a great experience. It was a beautiful day, we sat outside and had a late lunch. Service was exceptional. The kids ate all their food and my popover and soup hit the spot. The cookie we had was addictively good.

We have always had wonderful experiences at Popovers. Today was super special… one of the owners sweetly asked us if we could move our seat to a high top table so a family with young children could sit down… it wasn’t a problem at all. They so kindly rewarded us with complimentary drinks and 2 delicious popovers with jam and honey butter. Both owners and our waitress were so friendly and kind. The restaurant has such a beautiful vibe… definitely will return again and again !

* Vegan Sammy – great, but too much Just Egg. It would have been much better if the amount of egg was halved. Maybe adding lettuce or something to bulk it up more, would have been good, or just slightly reduced the price with the reduction in egg. It is a pretty small sandwhich.

Stopped into Popover Bistro & Bakery in Simsbury and grabbed some take out. Hubby is vegan we chose this restaurant after checking the menus online and seeing all off the choices they offered for him. I went with the veggie hash it was loaded with sweet potatoes, carrots, Brussels, broccoli, zucchini sautéed onions and wonderful roasted tomatoes. All of the veggies were perfectly cooked not a one that was too hard or soft. The seasoning and roasted tomatoes were perfection. I of course had to have a popover. Perfectly crisp outside light and airy inside it conjured up childhood memories of popovers made by a favorite aunt for holiday dinner simply wonderful. The very dangerous bakery case is located right by where you order, I glanced over long enough for the carrot cake to start calling my name. Who am I to resist? Moist and flavorful with just the right amount of frosting well worth every delicious calorie. My husband opted for the Vegan Power bowl, shredded kale, quinoa, toasted chickpeas, roasted broccoli and cauliflower, shredded carrot and falafel with pomegranate dressing. He absolutely loved it. We will definitely be back. He noticed they have a vegan waffle last time he found one of those at a restaurant we were in Brussels, Belgium

Popover is a one of a kind gem in this town. The small quaint restaurant holds so much serenity and zen with insanely delicious and healthy food. Pam and Sara are both amazing women that are running an amazing establishment. If you’re visiting Simsbury and you’re looking through reviews to see if it’s good, take mine as a sign to go! They have outdoor seating, live music/events here and there, and delicious drinks/food. Put Popover Bistro & Bakery in your gps and go, I promise you won’t regret!!
