Five stars and possibly an extra star hidden in the sauce bag.

You expect a certain level of excellence at Chick-fil-A. Polite staff, consistent food, and at least three people telling you “my pleasure” before you even finish saying thank you. That is the baseline. But this Chick-fil-A on Hillsborough Road somehow managed to level up an already elite operation.

First off, the staff is unreal. Friendly, cheerful, and genuinely happy to be there. Not “corporate training happy,” but “we actually like humans” happy. You feel less like a customer and more like a welcomed guest who just showed up for dinner.

Now let’s talk about the sauces. We asked for extra jelly and barbecue. Not “a little extra.” Not “two packets when you asked for three.” I mean MAXIMUM JELLY. And folks… they understood the assignment. The bag came out heavier. I briefly worried about structural integrity. This is the kind of generosity that restores faith in fast food humanity.

Food was hot, fresh, and exactly what you expect from Chick-fil-A when they are firing on all cylinders. Drive-thru delivery came with a genuine smile, efficiency, and zero chaos. It was smooth, fast, and oddly comforting.

Some Chick-fil-As are good. This one is great. It makes you want to come back, not just for the chicken, but because you leave in a better mood than when you arrived. My pleasure, indeed.

How can y’all forget to put the sandwich in the bag? With how little customers there were and the plenty of people standing doing nothing, you’d think especially on Valentine’s Day the Chick-fil-A team would be on top of it.

Plenty of staff standing around and only one other car in the drive thru. I probably came at the slowest point of the night unless it was dead empty before or after I arrived.

Grabbing me and my date Chick-fil-A for a Valentine’s day dinner turned into me forfeiting part of my dinner, because when I get to my destination and set up the meal, we are down a sandwich.

I really wanted to get the heart shaped chicken too because it was advertised so heavily and is great for date night but I was already feeling worried that they wouldn’t deliver on the heart shape or it would complicate the order — but I ordered the standard sandwich with some modifications and it was blanked entirely from the bag.

I also used a reward to get said sandwich…

1/5 star experience tonight. Especially when you’re an everyday customer.

Everyday; sadly not Sunday.

And I actually didn’t want to necessarily get Chick-fil-A for Valentines date but it ended up being exactly what we wanted and the heart shape chicken ads made it feel safe that they would attentively bag orders given that it was Valentine’s day and people probably are taking stuff to-go and enjoying the nice weather and night, and so we trusted Chick-fil-A for our meal as usually there have been no issues.

This is an extremely rare location that doesn’t seem to care about the brand image. I have been here a limited amount of times, maybe this was my 2nd or 3rd?

Most likely going to have to put this on my “do not visit” Chick-fil-list I keep, because as an everyday customer it is very important to know the kind of service to expect and which locations to avoid.

This pne was a bit uncomfortable, I sm s Veterans, didn’t get my discount. Stated I had ti be in uniform, which is not true since that would be a insecurity now. Been there several times got my discount even on Veterans day. These younger people now have no moral values, disrespectful, what do they know about history. UNSAT

Food service is slow takes multiple times for the food to come out 20 to 30 minutes for the food to come out. They don’t put gloves when they’re taking out the food. Management is allowed screams at its employees in front of the customers Fries are halfway empty will never buy fries from Hillsborough Road

Some other managers are nice and employees are friendly and nice it took 30 minutes for grilled sandwiches to come out.

I always end up regretting pulling in here and thinking service will be better. Today I placed a mobile through order and had the person ask me my very common name eight times, I spelled it twice and they finally “found my order “. When I got my “special” order it wasn’t recognized after 20 minutes of waiting . Drive-through line is always ridiculously long, partially thanks to no dedicated mobile through line where people who order online can expedite the process. In addition, It always seems to take longer at this Chick-fil-A on a per car basis. Food is generally good when you get it…

Restaurant was not even busy. Did a catering order. They did not give me all of my food. I’ve called and called. I’ve left a message and no one has called me back. This is for a work event and now I’m short on food. It took 2 people to bring out 2 bags and they still didn’t get it right. I will be going back to the restaurant to get a refund.

This evening, we visited Chick-fil-A to purchase meals for a group of girls in our care. We placed an order for a total of 15 meals. It was clear that the young man taking our order was new, and while a fellow team member did assist him once or twice, the manager on duty seemed more focused on critiquing rather than ensuring the order was processed correctly. Despite mentioning several times that our order involved a large quantity of food, there was no consistent oversight.

When we received the meals, we checked multiple times to ensure accuracy. Unfortunately, we discovered an error: instead of two separate meals, we were given two sandwiches with cheese. By the time we noticed the mistake and no corrections were made, all of the food had gone cold.

When I politely approached a cashier named Shamaya (who introduced herself as Maya), to request replacements due to the cold meals, I was told that they could not replace the food because of concerns over food costs. I want to emphasize that the issue stemmed from an error on the cashier’s part—no fault of his own, as I understand it was his first day—but had the order been handled correctly, there would have been no need to ask for replacements.

I’m extremely disappointed that nothing was offered in the name of customer service to rectify the situation. Chick-fil-A has always been known for its high standard of service, but today’s experience felt like a significant departure from that expectation. Customer service was noticeably absent, and I left feeling disheartened by the entire ordeal.

A lot smaller than most and a bit cumbersome to get in & out of because of how it’s situated in a shopping center. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly amidst the lunchtime rush. I did park & go inside to eat. They do offer a scan at your table where when your order is ready they will bring it to you which was very efficient. There is only 1 bathroom stall for each woman and another for men so if more than 1 person needing to go a line does form and when busy can get long. I’m sure that’s due to this again being a much smaller store. The food was still top notch Chick-fil-A and I did have a seat but as I was leaving around 12:30 don’t think I would have been able to find one. The drive thru was tight and think that’s because of the precarious set up of this location off the road but situated in a busy shopping center which made it difficult to navigate through with that traffic and not really enough space given to have any type of busy drive thru.

The young lady in the drive-through outside got more order wrong twice I thought maybe the first time that it was my fault maybe I didn’t say it loud enough or clear enough so I went back through about a second meal was in a hurry so I just grabbed it and went. I opened it up And it was the exact same thing I Just got previously if the young lady would even take the time to look up at the customer and pay attention to them she might start getting orders, correct I have been very disappointed in this location

I didn’t even know 2 or 3 stars was possible for Chick-fil-A… Food was awesome but we had 3 issues with our order. Then had to ask 4 times for something made right. Just use the drive through… Inside service is horrible.
