Interesting in a good way. Bagels and cream cheeses are plentiful and flavorful. The reason for the “interesting in a good way” the food and flavors are there all the way. The service displays and process are a little off.

Not just bagels but a full deli like we grew up with. I ordered a toasted bialy with cream cheese. I was not disappointed. It was fantastic I highly recommend you visit.

I was just in a quick trip home to Chicago I really wanted a good bagel. CBB was awesome! Great bagels, great service and I was surprised at how cheap it was! If there would have charge double it would have been worth it. But don’t raise your prices- I will be back

This place is a legend! It has been around for many years and has the best bagels in town. My mom recently went in and the owner was so friendly and kind to her. He shared lots of fun facts with her about their menu and bagels.

I have been comng here for many years. The corned beef and rye were always fantastic in the past. The cashier asked if I wanted lettuce and tomato on a corned beef and rye sandwich? She also did not understand the names of the bagels. The rye is no longer authentic. The quality of the corn beef was not good. It was a weird consistency. So disappointing!

Went there yesterday anticipating getting some delicious authentic pastrami and corned beef. I picked up 1/2 pound of warm corned beef and 1 LB of warm pastrami. Bought some fresh bagels to make sandwiches. We got to lake geneva (that’s where we were headed after a chiropractor appt) couldn’t wait to have the corned beef & pastrami bagels. The most tasteless meat I ever bought . I was shocked since I never was disappointed after going to a Jewish deli. The pastrami was more fat and gristle than meat! If I stayed in town after buying it as opposed to going to our 2nd home, we would’ve brought it back. Terrible was of money!

It’s a cute spot but the pizza bagel didn’t really hit the spot. I didn’t know what to expect when I first came in, so I’m usually the type to let the workers choose for me. They mentioned that ham and cheese usually goes with the pizza bagel… not a vibe.

Some of the worst service and vibes I’ve experienced in a restaurant. No greeting. The worker kept looking at me nasty while I waited to order. He ignored me and another couple walked in and he took their order. I was excited to try this place but walked out and didn’t get anything. Ridiculous.

I went in today and it was especially busy because of St. Patrick’s Day. There was a long line but I was happy to wait because I didn’t have much to do. I ordered a bagel sandwich and I was waiting for a bit, but again not in a rush. The staff noticed I was waiting for a while, and they were apologetic for the wait and made sure I got my food quickly after that. Very nice staff and delicious food too.

The sandwich was pretty good, not great. A plain, normal sized bagel with egg and cheese (nothing else) is $7.74! A plain bagel is $1.20. I paid $6.50 essentially for an egg and a slice of cheese, which might be acceptable if I was downtown in a hotel, but not in Wheeling. I’d come back for the bagels and make the sandwich at home, because paying almost $8 for an egg and cheese on a bagel is ridiculous even in the Financial District in Manhattan. You’d also get a bagel that is double the size in NYC for a lower price. I thought they made a mistake when charging me, but I double checked with the guy at the counter and he said that’s the correct price.
