The atmosphere is very intimate, and cozy. Staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. I met both the mother and son in person, which made the experience even more special.

If you’ve never tried escargot but have wanted to, this is the place to go, they were lovely. And if you are a fan of duck, that dish is a spectacular showshopper.

This is the last and best true French bistro left in NYC. Even in Paris today, this place would be a rare treat. All of the classics, done with care and precision, and wonderful soufflés make for the cherry on top. Absolutely the best restaurant in the area.

I loved the cozy atmosphere of this place, made even more welcoming by the mother-son duo who run the restaurant. The food was similarly very comforting, and was a perfect pre-show dinner! I ordered the rabbit stew, and it was just absolute perfection.

A fantastic little bistro! The food is phenomenal especially for its prices, the atmosphere is festively French and even the French bread is fresh baked on premises. The lamb was perfect!

What a wonderful and authentic French home style experience. And that starts at the door as they greet you. After enjoying my favorite dinner’, I ordered the Crepes Suzette and cappuccino for dessert. It had my eyes glazing over. Not surprisingly as my wife and I left we received a hug from long time owner( 62 years) and Grandma of the family and a wish for a speedy return visit. It certainly will be on our next trip down!

Old-school French cooking in time-worn setting. If you are hankering for escargots, onion soup, rabbit stew, or veal sweetbreads all at fair prices, you cannot do better than by dining at this homey establishment. Do not skip the outstanding souffles.

Your mother works very hard. People are not going out for French fine dining to be graced by Alice Cooper. Please have more respect for the establishment, and the curation of a French dining experience.

All roads in Midtown for best French food will lead here, and then some, Bourgogne that is, home made sauces and everything on the menu, plus this caramel flan sealed 7 star review!

A hidden gem and fantastic small restaurant that has the ability to transport you to France the moment you sit down and take your first bite. The staff are warm and friendly, and the menu is exquisite. During our visit, my partner and I had the Bouillabaisse for two and left utterly stuffed and satisfied (don’t be fooled thinking it’s simply a soup). I would highly recommend selections from their wine list as well during your visit.
