This place gets a “meh”, rating from me. Every time i go in there, there’s a different bartender working so turn over rate’s high, not quite sure why? they don’t keep the juke-box consistently going on weekends for people….. gets super duper quiet and uncomfortable and awkward while playing video poker. Leaves more to be desired in my opinion.

I liked the atmosphere of the place and enjoyed the food with friends. Chewy is a likeable guy and his presence made the place even better. Wait staff were friendly and quick. They switched the tv to the game we requested and took time to chit chat with us non-locals in between helping out the other patrons who seemed mostly interested in the video poker. We enjoyed playing pool and watching the game on a pretty mellow Saturday evening.

Great service from the bartender, I like the new white wall of alcohol, really brightens up the bar.Food is served, I haven’t tried any of the menu items yet. The burgers were great in the past when I have had them. Oregon lottery seems to be the popular attraction.

This place smells like mildew really bad. The only reason I have ever been there is because there are not many options in this small town, but I am never going there again and I’ll recommend to everyone I know that they should not go there. Today I saw some horse races on TV and it reminded me of being at the Kentucky Derby. That in turn made me want to drink a mint julep. It would have been refreshing anyways since today is such a nice day out.
I went into this bar and when I asked for a mint julep, the owner, who was bar tending at the time, told me he didn’t know what that was. I stood there figuring that he would look up how to make one, but he just stood there, scoffed at me and said again that he didn’t know what it was. He obviously didn’t want my business so I just turned around and left.
I guess he must be extra rich to be able to afford to treat customers so terribly.
I agree with the other people who reviewed this as well, the bathroom is nasty and there are lots of crackheads, someone even pulled a gun out during a fight like a month ago. If you want to buy drugs or catch a disease, this is the place to go.

Michelle is a wonderful bartender. Aside from making good drinks and having great service she shows that she truly cares about the people that come in and always has an upbeat personality. She makes this bar great!!!

Me and my girlfriend come here all the time, have been coming here for years and have nothing bad to say. Chewy is a really nice guy, he’s fun and it wouldn’t be the same without him. Honestly don’t waste your time or money on any other bars in town. Thank you Chewy and thank you to your amazing bar tenders. See you all soon

I’m give it a 5 cuz I have heard a lot of good stuff about the bar and the food is amazing from what my fiance told me. And hope all you go in and find out for your self. My fiance would go done there with friends and family. Can’t wait for my turn . And I have heard that chewy is a nice person. And cares alot about his bar.☺ oh almost forgot the bartender’s are very nice from what k have heard and being friends with them.

Was there 20 minutes, everybody had a drink but us. Went there for dinner but never got any service. Walked across the street to Downtown bar, had beers in less than 5 minutes and ordered food right after. Guess the gal at Chewy’s was more interested in her friends than making a large tip. NEVER GOING BACK!
