Such great food. I had the mullet box it was loaded. Picture is halfway so don’t let that fool you. Excellent service, they do cash and check. Mullet was cooked to perfection! Mullet sandwich also is supreme.

Would love to try your food out but your hours are so limited that you miss your prime crowd. When you have to have the whole inside seating area shut down and have a food trailer in the front with 2×4 tables, it is time to start doing something else. This is a classic example of someone being super cheap and not wanting to barely squeak by. You are only open from 10:30 am to 3 pm Wed-Sat. You are missing all of your people that come after work as well as Sunday. Chet’s used to be a Pensacola icon. I hate to see it be neglected like this because they used to have the best marinated grouper in town.

Hidden gem some good fried catfish, mullet, grouper. Food was fresh piping hot. They were friendly and fast, portions were generous. Took away a star because cash or check only. I also wish there was more places to sit we live far and ate in our car as the two tables were taken.

I have only been there twice but the seafood was fresh hot and delicious. I tried the mullet fingers and cheese grits it was my first time ever trying mullet I enjoyed it. I don’t like grits usually but tried these after reading a review, Im glad I did!

This place is a Pensacola landmark. It’s provided great seafood and comfort food for as long as I can remember. I don’t remember 1952 or WWII, but I do remember going to Chet’s. While they may not deliver the healthiest of diets to your table, they do deliver something that is certainly old fashioned…great food and an excellent customer experience at a good price! I thank God there are restaurants like Chet’s who are not “updated” to the new rush you in, rush you out, like it or leave it system of today. If you try the marinated mullet, you’ll certainly be hooked!

Chet’s has become one of the best southern seafood eatery’s ever. The menu is great and the food is superb. My only complaint is once in a while, I can’t get in, just look at the parking lot, says everything.
