They are right next to mcdonalds. Worst time ever their but cheaters made up for it. Nice kind staff. Quality of food was excellent. Even though they listened to me vent over way mcdonalds treated me they were still kind and encouraging. Good staff is representation over upper management in terms of training. The employees act like they don’t want to work; they have so much attitude. I wanted 2 chicken; they said $20 at the register, so I told them they could just put their small chicken back where it belonged. Then they started trying to argue with me, so I walked away. I will never order at this Chester’s again; they need training ASAP!!

You want my honest opinion? This is hands down the BEST chicken place in the Greater Houston area. Don’t just take my word on it try it out for yourself.
I get a #3 with 3 tenders, 3 potato wedges, a side of fried ocra, 2-3 jalapeños, and it comes with a biscuit.
The only complaint I could possibly have against them is that I don’t particularly care for any of their sauces.

Gave this location another chance, because it’s the only one we have in Houston. Came in at 6pm, they had nothing else but bone-in fried chicken and the attendant said they will not drop anything new in the fryer. I guess they have enough business located in a Love’s Truck Stop that they don’t need great customer service or food during business hours. And they apparently don’t care about their overall customer satisfaction as their Google reviews rating.

This is the only Chesters Fried Chicken in Houston as far as I know. We drove an additional 16 miles out of our way for the promise of excellent fried chicken and a family favorite, fried gizzards. The fried chicken was exceptional and as expected, however, the fried gizzards were old, the crust so hard and almost uneatable, so very disappointing. I would rather wait 15 minutes for a fresh batch to be dropped than be served and old batch. Next time we come by, if we come back, I will ask for a fresh batch to be dropped or I will not order them again.

The 3 piece chicken tenders were dry and bad. I asked for “fries” but the lady gave me a 1 huge wedge fry. I didnt even bother questioning the lady. Terrible food. Stay away from Chesters Chicken. I didnt went to this one. I went to a gas station and Chester’s was inside.

I require him to change new gloves. he said” I talk to wrong person. “
another customer behind me made same decision with me to give up to order their foods.
I would recommend someone to kicking them out of love’s truck stop.
