Clean space, welcoming workers, and good ole food for the soul. I drove 50 min from Stockton to visit and it was worth it! The cashier was super pleasant and the chef even talked to me when I told them I had to leave and come back. The food is fresh and delicious with reasonable portions. The prices are kinda pricey but is to be expected. The wait was not bad at all but was probably because I came right when it opened.I even got a free peach cobbler added to my bag after the cashier saw I didn’t have enough $$ after ordering it!! :)This is the needed soul food restaurant added to the tri valley. God bless.

What a wonderful dining experience at this hidden gem! The food was delicious and cooked just like down home! It reminded me of my southern grandmothers’ cooking, which I miss so dearly. The atmosphere was a vibe that felt like home. The service was on point , with friendly, accommodating staff that made you feel welcome. I will most definitely be back. This is my new favorite soulfood spot!

This place is wonderful. The catfish is just amazing! I love the seasoning and it wasn’t dry at all. The chicken is scrumptious and I love the machine and cheese. Not a fan of the greens or sweet potato but that’s only because I don’t like to eat too much sweet food. Not a fan of the banana pudding either as it’s just not something I would eat. But definitely go and get yourself some fried chicken and cat fish! Highly recommended. And be quick cos they sell out fast and they sold out of gumbo…..so sad

Oh and th corn bread was super yummy!

Been coming here since they opened. Ngl first time was a little disappointed due to long wait for food. But I’ve been back multiple times. They progressively got better.

Tonight was the best time and most pleasurable experience for me and the family.

Best comfort and southern food out here in Dublin.

Came here on a Sunday for lunch with my family. Got here right when they opened at 12pm.

The food is amazing. If you’re accustomed to Southern Style soul food, then you’ll feel right at home here. The food takes a bit of time to get to you which is a good thing because I knew it would come out hot and fresh…indeed it did not disappoint!

My only takeaway as someone who comes from the restaurant industry is customer service. There’s a level of detail that you need when it comes to optics around your customers, and I feel they could use someone in front-of-house that has great energy and is obsessed with paying attention to the tables to make sure every table’s needs are being met.

Finally soul food in the Tri Valley this place was phenomenal. The hospitality is great. The location is great. The parking is plenty. The ambience was on point. The restaurant was clean. The service was quick and fast. The food was simply delicious. The fish was crispy on the outside and soft and flaky on the inside the fried chicken was an art of beauty. candy yams on point mac & cheese creamy. Peach cobbler was delicious. If you guys want that southern taste there it is in Dublin the same outdoor mall where lazy dog is located in Best Buy . there’s also the movie theater after you have a bite to eat go grab a movie. We get to
Thank you, Bryce for coming over to my table. You are a very unique young man. There was a picture of him and his mom who is the owner on the wall. The place hit home. They have this beautiful jukebox. Jaming tunes . I’ll give you five stars hands-down.

The food is exceptional! One of the best soul food restaurants in this part of town! The fried catfish, fried chicken, mac n’ cheese, greens, etc.. Is worth 2nds, 3rds and 4ths. It’s a friendly family owned restaurant that really puts alot of love in their food. Please try them out if you have not ❤️

My daughter and I recently had the pleasure of dining at Cherie’s Southern Kitchen, and the experience left me with a Heartwarming Appreciation for Soulful Cuisine.

From the moment we stepped in, the inviting atmosphere and friendly staff set the tone for a delightful evening. The menu boasted a rich variety of soul food classics, each dish promising a taste of tradition. We started with their Fried Chicken Plate, Mac & Cheese, Cornbread and Collard Greens with Smoked Turkey, and the flavors immediately transported me to a place of culinary nostalgia.

The main courses were nothing short of exceptional. The Smothered Oxtail over Rice and Candied Yams were expertly prepared, capturing the essence of soul food with every bite. The attention to detail and the perfect balance of spices showcased the chef’s dedication to authenticity.

What truly stood out was the genuine warmth of the service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was not just a meal but a celebration of soulful indulgence. The portions were generous, making it a true feast for the senses.

To top it off, the dessert selection was the perfect finale to an already stellar meal. Naomi’s 7-Up Pound Cake and Nana’s Banana Pudding is the perfect sweet note to end the evening.

In conclusion, Cherie’s Southern Kitchen has truly mastered the art of delivering not just a meal but a soulful experience. Whether you’re a seasoned soul food enthusiast or a newcomer to this culinary delight, this restaurant is a MUST-VISIT in the Tri-Valley. I left with a satisfied palate and a heart full of appreciation for the soulful journey this dining experience provided. Will Definitely be coming back for many more meals.
