We came to Chens for lunch on Christmas day. We have gotten takeout from here once and it was good. We were seated immediately and our server was with us quickly. We ordered spring rolls to start – they were good. We had black pepper chicken and mango chicken with brown rice. Everything was pretty good. Our server didn’t miss a beat. Prices are reasonable.
There’s plenty of parking although the borough is doing construction right outside the restaurant so there is orange fencing and equipment but you can get in and out of the lot with no issues. Hopefully that road project will be done quickly.

Was not expecting such a fine dining experience. The food was amazing. I ordered the miso soup and didn’t realize it had soy and stuff in it, so i ordered clear soup, which tasted like it had too much pepper in it. But everything else was fantastic.

Fantastic food! From sushi to various Chinese dishes to Thai options, Chen’s has it all. Everything about our meal was fresh, tasty, and attractively served. I especially appreciated that the food was NOT overly salted or full of excessive oil. They even offer brown rice as an option. Our server was very friendly and the atmosphere was warm and pleasant. Dinner portions are large, but try and save room for dessert…they have some great ones to choose from.

Tried this while on TDY and should have gone here first. You’ll see my review on another sushi place in town and I’m blown away they are slightly better than Chen’s. Chen’s was great. Bright, engaging, and helpful from the start.
I tried two rolls and the sushi chief made me a little appetizer that was delightful. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and well layered. No complaints, excellent rolls!!
I would come back to this place in a heartbeat.

I frequent Chen’s often. Every one of their sushi rolls that I’ve tried was great (over the years I’ve tried quite a few, mostly from the “Chef’s Special Roll” section of the menu).
Excellent sushi aside, I’d like to highlight their spicy kani salad appetizer. Chen’s has my favorite kani salad—out of all that I’ve tried. It’s a perfect mix of meat, carrots, cucumbers, and creamy sauce. So craveable! Sometimes I’m tempted to order two, but I haven’t been quite bold enough to actually do that… yet.

My sushi was absolutely terrible. It tasted like it was sitting out all day. I had to spit it out immediately. When I called to complain, kindly, he yelled at me. My only option was to bring it back for a refund but I doordashed because my daughter is sick and my car is in the shop. The owner was mean and so unprofessional.

Hands down the worst Chinese food in Carlisle. And the staff is incredibly rude. The General Tso’s is no better than ketchup. To everyone who left a good review you should really try another place. This was my second time giving this place a try and I am very sorry I did.

Hands down best Chinese food in Cumberland county if not PA this side of the Susquehanna. Never seen a sad or mad face with a plate of Chen’s in front of them.
My favorites are the jumbo shrimp fried rice and crab rangoons.

A favorite of mine and my husband’s. Wonderful service, polite staff. Excellent food selection. Delicious sushi everytime we eat here. And the atmosphere is calm and zen, very clean place too.
