I’m re writing my review. I don’t want to come off mean or make people think this is a bad restaurant but I was served spoiled menudo.

Real restaurants have labels times and dates and temperatures and specifics about how to contain and properly store food. I was gonna feed my family and I started puking and regardless of the meat being completely rotten there was only a few pieces of corn in my menudo.

The reason why I posted this container and the vomit in the background is because the manager accused me of eating most the food and just trying to get a refund. Although I’m not rich I’m not poor and I can afford fast food and don’t have to lie… serving people spoiled food can literally kill them or put them in the hospital. Please be serious about how you serve food to customers. I work at a restaurant myself and I can clearly see this needs work.

I love the tacos and breakfast burritos here! Super friendly staff. There is some outdoor seating, but the street is noisy. Since it’s in my neighborhood, I usually walk there, grab and go, then eat at home.

I spent $23.74. I bought two combinations. One was a taco plate with bean and rice and the meat was chicken and then the other was the nachos and when I opened my food my wife’s tacos was horrible. The tacos was rundown. The meat was spoiled. It was nasty. It wasn’t fresh, the food representation all of the 10 being perfect it was a one been absolutely horrible. My nachos had a big long strand of white hair even a carne Sada was poor.

Ordered 3 carne asada tacos, not only were they were not fresh but they barely had any cilantro & onion on them. I only finished one and threw the rest away. Unfortunately, I will not be coming back to this location again.

My favorite place for tamales in Long Beach! And the tacos are great too! Great local authentic food, excellent price. So many good taco places, but not as common to have tamales as well.

Breakfast Burrito: Chorizo, Egg, Beans and Potatoes is great. Saucy, flavorful and delicious. Definitely add both beans and potatoes.

We were staying in the LBC and stumbled across this place looking for some more traditional food vs the chains that are in the downtown area. We purchased some burritos + tacos + chips n salsa and oh my! It was incredible + the nicest people ever! Would def go back if I was in the area.

Omg…as we were leaving the family in the LBC (I always wanted to say that- lol) we wanted some authentic Mexican food like what we have here in Arizona. We passed by multiple places on 4th Street and 7th Street before finally finding this little gem on the corner of 10th. We figured it’s getting later in the day by the time we get back to Arizona it’s bound to be 10 pm…we better stop and feed the kids. We pulled up and there were a few parking spaces that were not on the street with no struggle at all. It’s not a sit down restaurant but I did note some seating to the immediate side of the small building but unfortunately it was filled with homeless people.

Nonetheless, we ordered some carne asada burritos and I ordered 6 carne asada taquitos. The tacos were rather small but super filling and the burros were a generous size. The horchata didn’t taste like it was the “fake” extremely sweet stuff you often find at restaurants. It tasted so refreshing, not thick nor too sweet. It was so delicious, we definitely did not mind eating it on the way to the 10. The meat and beans were delicious. They had the perfect flavor. The meat was not overcooked, dry, or tough. It was perfectly charbroiled beef that was still juicy and sent your taste buds into a tantalizing frenzy. It did not need any added salt or lemon the flavor of it was PERFECTION.

Now when it comes to beef, I’m super picky and have high standards because it’s just so damn delicious but so easy to mess up. CHEMAS has obviously perfected they’re cooking techniques. We will definitely be back there when we visit again. Best of all it fed a family of 4 for under $26!

A little whole in the wall with traditional Mexican food and outdoor seating only. The carne asada has good flavor and the amount of meat they put on the tacos and in the burritos is good. The burritos are a little bit leaky with juices that poor out which kind of sucks. Same with the tacos but you can eat those quick. The place is worth a stop if you’re in the area but don’t go out of your way.

The soggiest mess i have ever paid for! Way too much salsa! So wet, the tortillas turned to mush! The lady behind the window wasn’t very nice either. It was my first and last time there!
