One of my family’s favorite restaurants is Pho Ben City, a Vietnamese spot located at 1844 Old York Rd, Abington, PA 19001.

Someone recommended Pho Ben City to me as a neighborhood gem, and THAT it is!! The food was so fresh and flavorful, quick service, reasonably priced and just an all around great spot!! I highly recommend!!

WOW!!! Just wow! Under new ownership! Ordered the Deluxe Rice Vermicelli meal for takeout it everything is so fresh! The shrimp size was very large and everything was just perfect!! The portion was very large. I spoke with the new ownership, and their focus is quality, not numbers. And my goodness did they deliver! The place is very, very clean and excellently maintained now. New chef, new staff, new everything. This is the best Vietnamese place in the area now. It really shows how the ownership is dedicated to the customers. Don’t go anywhere else – we tried all the places around here! This place takes the #1 spot. Amazing, well beyond the rest of the places around here, and fresh/clean! Will review dine-in soon – but if takeout is this amazing, fine-in must be a grand slam! – this is an honest, real review.

Great pho here. I am a big fan of their beef pho. My boyfriend tried shrimp pho and really enjoyed it. Love the coffee! ☕️ You have to try it. We ordered an appetizer of their chicken wings. The flavor was delicious and the breading was a great texture!

The food here is great. This was our 2nd time here. I’m not a good judge of Pho myself but my wife said it was really good last time. I had the Carmelized pork, which is delicious. So much better then grilled pork, which is sometimes dry. The pork cooked in the crockpot here is very juicy and never dry. My wife had Singapore Shrimp with noodles and said it was very good.

Really good pho and banh mi (Vietnamese sandwich! The Banh mi came out crispy and the staff were very nice with helping us package any leftovers. Highly recommend if you want good Vietnamese comfort food!

Definitely one of the cleanest Pho restaurants I’ve eaten at. Multiple types of Pho and a huge Selection of other things. The guys were super friendly and their hot oil was off the chart tasty.

Honestly this is one of the best pho places I’ve been to. My waiter was Jason and he was so kind. I got the chicken pho and it was great and it also had like a taste of clove in it which I’ve never tasted before but I liked it.
They were playing classical music which was really calming and better than when it’s pop music. I will be back again.

I recently visited Pho Ben City with my husband, and we had such a fantastic meal! I ordered the shrimp pho, and it was absolutely delicious—the shrimp were perfectly cooked, and the broth had a rich, aromatic flavor that really hit the spot. My husband went for the beef pho, and he was equally impressed. The beef was tender, and the broth had that perfect savory depth that makes pho so comforting.
We also tried the chicken dumplings, which were a real highlight. They had a crispy bottom and a savory filling that was just the right balance of flavor. The spring rolls were another great addition—they were fresh, light, and packed with crisp veggies and herbs, making them the perfect appetizer to start off the meal.
To finish, we had the mango smoothie, which was both refreshing and delicious. It had a creamy mango flavor with little jello pieces inside that added a fun texture and made it even more enjoyable.
What really stood out was how affordable everything was. For the quality and portion sizes, we were pleasantly surprised by how budget-friendly it all was. The service was friendly and attentive, and the cozy atmosphere made it a really pleasant dining experience.
