The service was excellent, no wonder they’ve survived in Rowland ~ The ice cream was delicious, and I’ll definitely be back. I’m addicted to spicy food, and it’s not easy to find the right kind of chili peppers, so I’m very satisfied!
The service here was really good for how understaffed they were since someone called out sick. Two waiters took care of the restaurant during a very busy lunch, but I’d say our party of 6 got seated pretty quickly. They made the time to get us an extra chair & explain the menu.
Restaurant looks brand new, a bit small like a mom & pops which makes it comfortable. Not overly decorated, but has a nice Chinese restaurant vibe.
I’m obsessed with those garlic vinegar fern root noodles that are so refreshing. The Hunan bacon & ribs were amazing & lamb bite were really nice! The stinky tofu can be stinkier, but has a nice crunch. I’m a bit biased though since my neighbor in Shanghai makes & sells stinky tofu back in the day. Gizzards and boiled beef tongue were good too, but didn’t stand out as much. I can’t wait to try more dishes here!
Wok-Fired Geoduck (Chef’s Special): spicy, tender, and cooked with serious precision
Salted Egg Yolk Crab: rich, savory, and the star of the table
Tomato Braised Beef: a signature for a reason—comforting with a bold kick
Preserved Mustard Greens w/ Minced Pork: salty, umami, and perfectly balanced
Brown Sugar Glutinous Rice Cake: chewy, warm, and the sweetest finish
If you love heat with depth—not just spice for shock value—this spot understands the assignment.
Save this for your next serious Chinese food craving ️
The abalone is tender and fresh, the pork is perfectly seasoned with that signature Hunan aroma and heat. The balance of flavors and the wok-hei are spot on. Every bite is rich, flavorful, and addictive — a dish you’ll keep thinking about long after the meal.
The restaurant is clean, and the service is warm and attentive.
Definitely one of those places you try once and immediately want to come back to.
Highly recommended for anyone who loves authentic Hunan cuisine! ️✨
The service and environment were fine, but I won’t be coming back. Not recommended.
