Let me start by saying, this is a delicious gem that can’t be passed up if you’re in the area and thanks to Kevin it was an amazing experience. I’m not that familiar with Chinese cuisine but it turned out to be a positive one with our server Kevin guiding us through it all with the dishes he recommended. We started with a Vegetable dish that included preserved mustard greens and minced pork and I didn’t quite catch the name but it was a tasty starter. Next up was a bowl of braised beef in tomato broth. OMG! It reminded me of a dish my grandmother used to make and rest her soul. It was comforting and it really set the tone for the main dish. Ok so the star of the show was Salted Egg Yolk Crab that had us all giddy. This was really good and fun to eat. To finish off the meal we had a brown sugar glutinous rice cake and thst put a sweet smile of delight on our faces. Again, our servier Kevin gets a big shoutout and hopefully your experience will be amazing as ours was with him at the helm. Definitely check it if you happen to be in the area and craving Chinese food that will satisfy you like it did us.

This restaurant is very authentic Hunan style, with distinctive flavors that are incredibly similar to what I’ve eaten in China. The chicken gizzards were amazing, although one dish seemed a little overcooked. When we were packing up to leave, I casually mentioned it to the waiter sister , and they actually gave me a refund!

The service was excellent, no wonder they’ve survived in Rowland ~ The ice cream was delicious, and I’ll definitely be back. I’m addicted to spicy food, and it’s not easy to find the right kind of chili peppers, so I’m very satisfied!

My coworkers and I have been searching for a new spicy lunch spot since Spicy Home relocated further away & I think this is a great alternative that specializes in Hunan style cuisine so we get that ️ !

The service here was really good for how understaffed they were since someone called out sick. Two waiters took care of the restaurant during a very busy lunch, but I’d say our party of 6 got seated pretty quickly. They made the time to get us an extra chair & explain the menu.

Restaurant looks brand new, a bit small like a mom & pops which makes it comfortable. Not overly decorated, but has a nice Chinese restaurant vibe.

I’m obsessed with those garlic vinegar fern root noodles that are so refreshing. The Hunan bacon & ribs were amazing & lamb bite were really nice! The stinky tofu can be stinkier, but has a nice crunch. I’m a bit biased though since my neighbor in Shanghai makes & sells stinky tofu back in the day. Gizzards and boiled beef tongue were good too, but didn’t stand out as much. I can’t wait to try more dishes here!

Chef Tian’s in the City of Industry is serving real Hunan cuisine—layered, spicy, and deeply comforting. Every dish hits with intention and balance.

Wok-Fired Geoduck (Chef’s Special): spicy, tender, and cooked with serious precision
Salted Egg Yolk Crab: rich, savory, and the star of the table
Tomato Braised Beef: a signature for a reason—comforting with a bold kick
Preserved Mustard Greens w/ Minced Pork: salty, umami, and perfectly balanced
Brown Sugar Glutinous Rice Cake: chewy, warm, and the sweetest finish

If you love heat with depth—not just spice for shock value—this spot understands the assignment.
Save this for your next serious Chinese food craving ️

Very tasty Hunan food that offers flavorful meals and good vibes. A lot of specialty food options such as stinky tofu and smoked bamboo shoots with cured meat. If you crave for hot & spicy food with a character, this is the place to go for. Plus, free ice cream after your meal!

This Hunan restaurant truly exceeded my expectations! Their Abalone Stir-Fried Pork is the best I’ve ever had — absolutely unbeatable.

The abalone is tender and fresh, the pork is perfectly seasoned with that signature Hunan aroma and heat. The balance of flavors and the wok-hei are spot on. Every bite is rich, flavorful, and addictive — a dish you’ll keep thinking about long after the meal.

The restaurant is clean, and the service is warm and attentive.
Definitely one of those places you try once and immediately want to come back to.

Highly recommended for anyone who loves authentic Hunan cuisine! ️✨

The food was really not good and tasted inauthentic. I honestly couldn’t tell what cuisine it was supposed to be. Definitely not worth it avoid this place.
The service and environment were fine, but I won’t be coming back. Not recommended.
