Wonderful experience! We got the V3 eggplant with garlic sauce, X7 scallion pancakes, H5 braised pork in Mao’s style, H15 home styled sauteed pork, and H14 sauteed frog. The home styled sauteed pork and sauteed frog were quite spicy so don’t be afraid to ask for more rice. Amazing food and service!

Lovely sichuan/hunan cuisine in Jersey city. Steps away from PATH Newport station. The space is modern with high ceiling and glass wall, bright and airy. The menus all come with picture very helpful for those who are not familiar with the Chinese cuisine, you just have to give them the dish number. Service is also very fast, didn’t have long wait to be seated and food come out very fast.

Being here a couple times… Ummm… The food is quite delicious. But somehow I just think the flavors are fusion. Not pure Sichuan , not pure Hunan but the dishes in the menu are in the right names of each. And this made me wonder… I have to admit they really taste good…. Some people think it’s a bit expensive here. But for the food and service you get, I think it’s OK….

This is our go to spot for dinner with the family. The dishes are authentic and full of flavor. We really enjoyed the spicy fish fillet, egg plant, and cauliflower.

Very unique found if one is into Chinese spicy food. Many of our orders were my first try. Very impressed with the ingredients and the taste was satisfied. The restaurant has a very nice design; the table (the one we sat on) was made from one piece of tree truck. It’s located near the Rutger University and can get quite busy during the weekend.

In a COVID setting, this place is pretty socially distanced and everyone is masked up unless they are eating. UPDATE not every waiter wears a mask but maybe about half of them still do as of June 2021. Great place if you’re looking for some spicy food! I really liked the Beef and Tripe appetizer. It is a cold and spicy dish that gives your mouth a slight numbing. The dandan noodles were also a delicious appetizer. Eggplant with garlic sauce is my go to dish and theirs is tasty. Was not a huge fan of the spicy and crispy short ribs. The taste was great but there isn’t much meat, just cartilage and breading. Majority of the staff was nice but there was one waiter who was pretty rude. Still, I definitely recommend a try if you are in the area.

One of my favorite restaurants around here. The food taste great and the portion is decent. It’s a little pricy but it’s justified considering the taste. Indoor decoration is beautiful and comfy. Would recommend to everyone.

Good food. Extensive menu with many unusual options, some of them quite pricey. The steamed stuffed buns were outstanding. Szechuan shrimp were tasty. The chef Tan fried rice was quite good, but a bit salty. The service was quite good. Beautiful atmosphere, outdoor seating. Free parking in the back.
