I have eaten here many times, and have always found the food and the service to be top class. I am a VERY picky eater, so there is little that satisfies me anywhere. This is the exception! If you are in a hurry, don’t go there for dinner! This food is so good, it is meant to be enjoyed slowly and appreciated for the rich heritage it has. Everything homemade. Everything wonderfully tasteful. The waitresses are not only very knowledgeable about the food and the country it comes from, but are excellent waitresses who will strike up a conversation. This is one of Central Florida’s greatest secrets. I hate to say anything too good for fear I’ll never get a reservation again because of over-crowding!

First time eating here. Service is horrible. Waitresses do not know anything about service. She walked up and said “what do you want to drink?…like she has never served anyone ever. Also, I ordered a very overpriced steak (it was about the size of a small hamburger patty) without mustard sauce. It came out without the mustard dipping sauce, yet was drizzled with plain mustard!! To make it worse, the tomatoes in the salad had the consistency of bubble gum. No joke, my wife and I even asked our waitress and she had no clue. The meal was not worth $60 an we will never go back!!! Don’t waste your time!

Took my wife to Chef Henri’s last nite. Restaurant was empty. Sat down and had a very limited menu on a piece of copy paper handed to us.My wife wanted chicken and the waitress told us they were out of chicken. She gave us a wine list still attached to the old menu. We ordered Potato Leek soup with Bacon. Very bland tasting and full of mushy bread. The potato wedges in the soup were undercooked and no sign of any bacon. When my wife wanted some salt, the waitress could not find any in the place. Sent the soup back. We then ordered the Sausage platter and I had the Schnitzel with mushroom gravy and Spaetzle. The meal came out when we were half way through with our salad. The 2 Sausages were terrible, sour tasting and luke warm. Again the Potato wedges were undercooked and when my wife asked about all the liquid in her plate, the waitress said it was Aus Jus, on Sausage, REALLY. My Schitzel had absolutely no flavor, chewy, and the gravy was as thin as water. The Spaetzle was soaking wet with water and also undercooked. The waitress told us that Chef Henri had a heart attack in February and things were not quite up to par. That was an understatement yet still charging full price. The chef came out, presumably Henri’s wife, and stormed up to our table and rudely said What’s wrong. When my wife told her about the sausage, she said she had just tried one in the kitchen and they were fine. She asked about my dinner and I told her. My wife tried to say something and she rudely looked at her and said I am not talking to you right now, WOW. She loudly yelled at the waitress and told her not to charge us for the food. We went out to have a nice quiet dinner, not free terrible food and a rude owner. We did pay for the 2 glasses of wine and tipped the waitress as though we had the full check. We will never go back as there are too many better places to go and have an enjoyable meal. Disgusted and Insulted customer.

Wonderful food! Lovely family, authentic European cuisine just like my Ukranian Grandmother made. HIghly recommend this cozy yet upscale favorite of ours. We have been customers for years and we visit every special occasion. Try their Apple Strudel for dessert!

Best food I ever had outside of my kitchen. Once having been there you’ll always go back. The best Hungarian guylas I’ve ever had except what is made in my own kitchen. the strudel is phenomenal.
