Since 2002 Checkmate Pizza has been a favorite New Hampshire pizza delivery and sub spot because of our extensive menu and friendly service. Checkmate Pizza serves a range of pizza styles including traditional, pan, and Sicilian. Choose a combination of fresh meat and vegetable toppings or try one of our chef’s specialties for a unique experience. We are also the home of the 20″ pizza for those with large appetites! In addition to handmade pizza and calzones, we offer cold or grilled subs & wraps and tasty fried sides including French fries and jalapeño poppers. We offer made-to-order subs or choose from over 25 signature sandwiches and wraps (Checkmate’s wraps are made using our pizza dough!).

Super nice and amazing experience! I ordered food late at night for my pregnant wife and daughter after having to stay in a hotel since having no power. Safe to say it was nice to have a good experience and little did we know this was it. We received the food directly to own room then after not even noticing they happened to miss a small bottle of sprite they drove back and dropped off the bottle of sprite and added in two cookies! Needless to say that made my wife and daughter very happy and the best experience ordering food!

Ordered a steak & cheese sub and there was NO steak in it. Called them and they said sorry, it was busy. Paid 17$ for literally an ice cream scoop of steak in a 12 inch sub. 2 inches from each side was empty. #Neveragain .. beware..

Pizza and service were great, but the price was a bit high, i thought. 3 dollars for a 20pz bottle of soda? I can get a 2 liter for that. And a 16″ pizza was 28 bucks? Having said that, i loved the pizza, but i can’t spend 30+ for lunch for me and my helper.

Got attitude from the person on the phone when we reported that there was a bug in the salad we ordered. The same person provides “logical” input that they don’t even know how the bug would have gotten in there because they’re not native to NH and that they wash and cut produce that they deal with in the restaurant. Thank you for implying that you believe we’ve planted a bug in our salad. While the order was voided by the establishment and we are happy with that, this is not an acceptable way to treat customers.

No consistancy…lousy customer service!! We placed an order because my salad I got a couple of wks ago was excellent. My GREEK salad came with hardly any feta to speak of and probably a cans worth of SPANISH olives (that I had asked them to take out) I called to ask why and was told that when I placed the order she read it back to me and I agreed. So basically she put the blame on me and did not offer any resolution. Oh and forgot to metion the lettuce had brown edges so definitely NOT fresh. Did not offer to please the customer in any way. RUDE!

Who runs this business anyway- I’d like to save them the embarrassment here and speak with them directly. I don’t take kindly to “managers” insinuating I’m not intelligent, being argumentative and not listening…. Pretty trashy. I see a LOT of bad customer service reviews that go unaddressed.

(RAW CHICKEN DON’T EAT HERE YOU WILL GET SICK) I was one of the last orders of Sunday night at 7:43pm and I ordered to be delivered two subs and one of the subs was completely raw inside and we’ve taken pictures of it and there’s no point in trying to get my money back because it was a holiday weekend nobody was there to say anything and we also have made 1 review already and they took it down

Outrageously priced for not even good pizza, just get dominos. 1 pizza and a few sauce cups, the total was going to be $50+. I was so surprised so we asked how much 1 ramekin of sauce is and it was $3.00!!! After removing those, the 1 pizza still ended up being over $40.

Newly allergic to dairy and really craving an Italian sub. Ordered one expecting disappointment but no…really delicious and I didn’t miss the cheese!! Friendly service and clean facility. 5/5 recommend.
