There is always an issue with the operating hours of this location. It closes whenever the employees decide. Pulled up at 11:45. Tbis was a surprised because they have been known to shut down around 10. Lights on and employees walking around, I sat at the speaker almost 10 minutes. No one ever came to take the order. I ordered the stacked fish sandwich. Yes, two fried pieces of fish and a large iced tea. I’m not a huge French fry guy, so I appreciated not having a huge amount of fries to deal with. Service was extremely quick and the food was better than expected.

This is my 2nd try at this Checkers. I completely understand why it’s never busy. Workers outside smoking when I pulled up. I ordered the 3 tender meal..fries were almost dehydrated (extra old), the tenders are TINY and dry…I could’ve gone to Popeyes and gotten a REAL chicken tender meal for this price ($9.50 ). The workers had great customer service, but their give a damn about serving fresh food was less than appealing. Apparently the owner(s) pay them to sit on their phones outside, and smoke cigarettes, because after I received my food, and the 2 other cars shortly after I drove through, that’s the first place they went and stayed while I ate my less than desirable food, and for the duration of this post 25 minutes (check cameras between 6 and 6:30). Part of the reason I like Checkers is to get a burger and a shake but y’all always have an excuse about why there are no shakes. I actually called this time. Ghetto, that’s all I have to say. Next time your out of Lettuce, tomatoes, and any other condiments please let your customers know up front. Seems like you serve people then let them find out after they drive away that your out of stuff. This is my go to spot. I could not wait for my food. Asked for funnel fries they were out, asked for a milkshake and slushy they were out of both. They were out of alot. Went to the store next door to get my slush. The burger and fries were sooo tasty as always.

Staff was amazing!! The main reason I stopped was for fries and they were out… it was such a disappointment because I don’t get to get Checkers where I live…. FYI I just so happened to go to another for fries only and they were out too… such a shame!!

Price a little bit high, but some really amazingly juicy and tender burger and tendies! The banana shakes were great, it took 5 minutes to get through the drive thru. They forgot our straws but whatever. I recommend trying it out next time you’re on your way to or from CSTAT
