Usually they have good breakfast sandwiches as well as lunch and dinner. This food is rich in flavor compared to most fast food. American style burgers and sandwich food, some interesting drinks, ice cream options, even margaritas, the dirty kind. Today however, I had a horrible bacon/egg/ cheese on Sourdough bun that had burnt and tough edges on the bread, the eggs were greasy and undercooked, and there was 1 tiny piece of bacon fat buried in the eggs that were spilling out all sides of the bread. If I didn’t know better I would think they poured bacon grease into the eggs instead of using actual bacon. This isn’t the first time my meal has gone south at this Restraunt, it’s hit and miss constantly. I couldn’t eat my meal today. Other days it tastes great. If the help were all held to the same standard I think the issues would resolve themselves. Check your food before leaving with this place.

Excellent place to come and eat. Atmosphere was very calm and relaxed 50s theme diner with a huge selection of burgers drinks and ice cream at an affordable price. The portions that they give are reasonable and the food was very good and fresh would definitely recommend and would come again.

Stopped in this morning for a quick breakfast. I had to make a last-minute change at the window. The staff was accommodating helpful and kind.
After I left, before I recognized that they hadn’t provided me all of my order, I received a polite phone call from the manager letting me know that they had failed to get me the extra sandwich that I had ordered at the window. I returned back to the store, collected my sandwich, received an apology and a warm thank you, and told that they valued my business.
I was super impressed! I never carried the expectations that everybody gets things right 100% of the time. But is a customer, I really appreciate when companies I do business with own the mistake, make it right, and thank me in the process.
If I could give these guys six stars, I would. Thank you!

I have eaten food from Spangles various times over the last 20 years. I have been a long time customer. It saddens me to write this review. Here lately, there food has just gone downhill. Their whole claim of being “made fresh” isn’t holding up. I order a chicken gyro the last time I went. The chicken was very poor quality. Very fatty, had probably been frozen, but not appropriately thawed. The chicken was just watery. Not juicy. Watery! It was extremely unappetizing. Everything was just kind of unceremoniously thrown on. The pita bread is pretty thin compared to what it used to be. I was thinking maybe I wasn’t giving it a fair shake? No. I finished the whole thing & wished I hadn’t. I am not a wasteful person. I didn’t throw it away.
At this point, I am just done eating Spangles food. Also, if you go check out their nutrition, the food is really unhealthy content wise. Honestly, ever since the chain started offering alcoholic drinks is when the quality went down. I am sure someone will reach out about this review. Let it be known, I don’t want any free products for my experience. I want the chain to fix their quality. This isn’t an isolated store problem. It is across the board. They used to have much higher standards. I want to be able to have food here again, enjoy it, and write a decent review.

We have never been to Spangles before. Not sure if they are just a south Kansas thing. Haven’t seen any in KC area. Staying in Wichita for an event. Decided to get dinner but didn’t want to drive. It was a five minute walk. The food was decent for fast food. It is a 1950’s style diner with the music from that time. The guy at the counter was nice. I was 2nd in line for the bathroom, which hasn’t been updated since the 50’s. Waited awhile to find out you needed a key to get in but there’s no signs stating so. That’s why 4 stars.

Let me tell you my experience at this joint. Wife got a #3 large fry large drink. 17 dollars for this meal. I was like wow, that’s wild as hell. However when we got back to the hotel. This burger is restaurant material. It’s basically dinner, breakfast, and my lunch. The ladies in there are quiet. I understand because it’s in a kind of a rough area. Also they are hard and fast workers. Hope the company always keep them safe.

The Neal was a bit pricey compared to other burger meals but I think it was worth it. The burger and fries were freshly made and hot. The wait wasn’t too long for it bring the dinner hour took maybe 5 minutes from getting in line to leaving with my food. The customer service could have been better. I wasn’t greeter and was told immediately to wait. And when receiving my food they handed me everything and closed the drive thru window. Didn’t ask if I needed sauce or anything else. But overall I’d recommend grabbing a quick bite to eat from here.

Fabulous little diner. Decorated like a 50’s type of place. Replica of Marilyn & Elvis to take pics with. Food was actually super fast, we barely got seated and there it came. And it was really good. I got the parmesan fries, And ham sandwich. My BFF got the garlic burger! Also, they have alcoholic beverages!!
