We were driving through Wichita from Florida and wanted to give this place a try. We were not disappointed. The fries.. crispy, but soft…and HOT! My husband got the sourdough garlic parmesan burger, which he said was incredible. The staff were very friendly. The general manager happened to be walking by the window when we pulled up to pay and he saw our dogs in the car. He gave us a pup cup for each of them that they absolutely devoured. If we are ever in Kansas again, we will eat at Spangles.

We have never been to Spangles before. Not sure if they are just a south Kansas thing. Haven’t seen any in KC area. Staying in Wichita for an event. Decided to get dinner but didn’t want to drive. It was a five minute walk. The food was decent for fast food. It is a 1950’s style diner with the music from that time. The guy at the counter was nice. I was 2nd in line for the bathroom, which hasn’t been updated since the 50’s. Waited awhile to find out you needed a key to get in but there’s no signs stating so. That’s why 4 stars.

Just went here order two classic meal deals and asked for seasoning on one of our fries and it didn’t come with the seasoning I asked and paid for. We went to try our drinks and the dr.pepper tasted like cinnamon and the sprite was horrible. The people were nice and provided nice service, but the food wasn’t worth my money nor my time.

At 9:30pm on 06/29/23 I ordered 2 large #23 with seasoning and received 2 value Fry’s that were half full and unseasoned. When I went to ask if they would exchange me for largest with seasoning the girl at the register rolled her eyes and told me I’ll have to buy 2 large Fry’s cause It was my fault my order was wrong. Wouldn’t go there again, ripp offs and bad attitudes. They need to check in on there employees and there management. Not one manager would help or even talk to me. I had to wait another 20 min after I ordered and paid another $8 for 2 large Fry’s to get home and find there not seasoned. Do not recommend to anyone. Wouldn’t allow my dog to dine with this staff.

The young girl working the drive up window should be fire! You shouldn’t have to walk in to get better service and friendly attitude!!IF I haven’t paid already would of drove off ! I couldn’t even give her my rewards number. I will not come back again to a spangle again now! If you can’t give the same experience as if you walk in not worth the hassle of getting mad at someone.

I have eaten food from Spangles various times over the last 20 years. I have been a long time customer. It saddens me to write this review. Here lately, there food has just gone downhill. Their whole claim of being “made fresh” isn’t holding up. I order a chicken gyro the last time I went. The chicken was very poor quality. Very fatty, had probably been frozen, but not appropriately thawed. The chicken was just watery. Not juicy. Watery! It was extremely unappetizing. Everything was just kind of unceremoniously thrown on. The pita bread is pretty thin compared to what it used to be. I was thinking maybe I wasn’t giving it a fair shake? No. I finished the whole thing & wished I hadn’t. I am not a wasteful person. I didn’t throw it away.

I am from out of town and my hotel was just a few blocks from here. I came in on a whim and asked what the employees recommended and I got the crispy chicken with the Thai Chili Sauce on Pita and it was great! I also had Salt and Vinegar Fries!!! Last but not least an Orea shake! Let’s just say I slept great!!!!
