We tried this last nite with a limited menu at Touchstone Brewery. They were the food truck there and they did not disappoint! I had the rice bowl with the bbq seitan. It was so delicious! Our friends tried the banh mi sandwich and the loaded fries. Everyone enjoyed their food and they were not even vegan like my hubby and I! We will definitely be back!

I eat here a lot and everything is very delicious! It’s my favorite vegan place around but anyone would enjoy the food. Pickup is fast and staff is nice. This place deserves another 5 star review.

Great choice of vegan Asian food! I ordered Villager Vermicelli, the seikan in it is well seasoned but the sauce or tofu can be more flavorful. I ended up adding my own soy sauce, fish sauce and rice vinegar. Looking forward to trying other stuff!

Miserably managed!!! I called ahead and placed an order Monday night for pick up of four items: an appetizer, the pho, the miso dish, and a banh mi. I was told that the order would take 45-50 min. Fine. I arrive at the restaurant precisely at the 50 min time point and promptly paid for the order. At this point I was informed that the miso dish was no longer available. Fine, but not ideal. I then proceeded to wait an additional 50 minutes for my food. Outrageous!! I would’ve left if I hadn’t already paid! The food finally came out and the dumplings were luke warm and only after arriving home did I notice that the Banh Mi was the incorrect one and missing all of the pickles that were supposed to be included. What garbage!!! When I tried to call the restaurant back to ask for a refund or a redo, their phone line was off. Ironically this was the only good managerial decision that was executed all night. The poor staff was swamped with orders and a line out the door. They just could not keep up. I respect them for doing their best, but there should be some managerial oversight here to either increase staffing or cut off orders if they cannot be fulfilled timely or properly. What an utter disappointment.

I’ve tried most of the vegan food that Davis’ restaurants have to offer since I moved here last year, and Chay Corner is my go to spot when I’m looking to eat out. The Wok Fried Rice is my favorite, but the Bahn Mi Sandwiches and noodles are great as well. Also, everyone is so friendly and helpful! Definitely check it out if you get the chance.

This is one of my favorite places for Vietnamese vegan food! The Banh Mi is delicious and made fresh, I highly recommend this place, the prices are super reasonable too.

I’d have better luck and a more enjoyable experience if I were tasked with making my own tofu out of the toilet in a prison cell during a 50 year sentence on Alcatraz. Funny enough, after being let out 35 years later for good behavior I’d still be waiting for my order from this travesty of a restaurant.

I have called in for to go orders at Chay Corner many times in the past. Today I was very unhappy because I did not get my order after more than 40 minutes, though it was ready when I got there after 20 minutes. The person at the counter insisted that I had wait in a long line to pay for my previously called in to go order. I thought when you call to order there was no need to be in the line especially when the food is ready to be picked up. At Crapeville and Burgers and Brew you can pick up the food and with no need to be in the line. Today I decided not to order any more food at Chay Corner. When you give them your money it’s like you are voting for them, right? The girl today said if I didn’t want wait for my called in order then I should use Door Dash. I don’t live in Davis and I can’t get Door Dash from Chay Corner. I drove to Davis for them. Maybe they don’t want my business after all these many orders for my vegan family.
