Atmosphere was great! Fantastic view of downtown Boston. The service was was good with friendly staff. The food was ok. I was expecting a great food experience and food was average. Ordered Prime Rib and Two Lobster Tails. We enjoyed our dinner but I had to add salt at pepper to my dish.

This is a wonderful restaurant to go to for an elegant dinner. The atmosphere and service is excellent. They do not rush you at all. There is time in-between courses and they offer suggestions. The food is always great. I did not take the best pictures as I forgot until we had taken a few bites. Crab cakes beautiful, fresh and not bready. Lobster stuffed haddock was cooked beautifully, lots of lobster as well. Key lime pie had excellent flavor and was a huge piece, good for sharing after a wonderfully filling meal.

My son and I went to Chart House for lunch after visiting the New England Aquarium a few weeks ago and really enjoyed our food. Beautiful restaurant with great food, I highly recommend it. The service was a bit slow at the end as I had to ask for the check several times and sitting there just waiting.

We made reservations at Chart house yesterday for dinner and everything was great from start to finish. Upon arriving we checked in with the host who was very pleasant. Upon arriving at our table there was a card wishing us a happy anniversary as we mentioned on open table that it was our 20th wedding anniversary. Our waiter Omar was great, even though we’re NOT chocolate lovers he thought we should still try the lava cake and he was right it was good, thanks Omar. He wasn’t done, he brought out a slice of Boston cream pie with a candle for our anniversary and that was really special, we understand that may be the norm but for us as busy as he was he could easily forget so thank you, we appreciate it we appreciate you. And the food.. Oh My Thank you Omar and @charthouseboston for your part on our special day!

This place is exactly what I would hope having seafood in Boston would be like. And while we spent $100 per person on a late lunch the service and attention to detail with our meal was abysmal! Our waiter was extremely slow and inexperienced. Each transition left us waiting 5-10 min for him to show up. I ordered the live lobster and they delivered it and my wife got half way through the meal before I finally got up and asked for help or utensils.
