With love of food and a passion for creating, Michael and Robert started Charlotte’s Kitchen. Charlotte’s was inspired by Michael & Rob’s, Grandma Charlotte. Though she is only “technically” related to Michael, her unconditional love and compassion for those around her makes her a Grandma for Robert and many others. We initially started with just desserts, but we have now grown to a full blown kitchen focused on creating dishes that taste as good as they sound. We strive to serve food that has soul and love just like Grandma, using fresh ingredients & never settling for good, but striving for the best. We hope to see you soon, ~ Michael, Rob, & the Char’s Fam

The service is really just counter service. They do bring your food out to you but there seems to be confusion as there was no system to track where you sat after you ordered so servers look confused coming out with trays of food. This also roles into the atmosphere of the restaurant. With the servers looking confused and obviously trying to solve the problem of where their people are sitting, it is not very inviting to stop and ask them anything. We were missing an order of fries and we were the first row of tables so servers were walking by and we couldn’t get anyone’s attention to stop.
The restaurants seating also has a few large table options that, when busy would leave small groups sitting together. If that’s your thing but if that’s not your style, may avoid rush hour and opt for drive through. There is a bar top right at the front door but it’s not ideally placed as you are right by the line to order, so you have to cut back through the line and it feels rude to do so.
My only other thing is the Brussel sprouts. They have them on the menu. We did order them and they are good, but… they make the entire restaurant smell. If you’re sensitive to smell, pregnant, etc – maybe stick to drive through.
I know this is a very detailed, specific review but I hope you see that I do think you are doing great thing! And I think you can just take it to the next level! ❤️❤️❤️ Keep it up!
However, the bathrooms were absolutely disgusting. One was so dirty that I went to the other bathroom. It wasn’t as bad but the door is caked in dirty black marks from hands on the door. The sinks and toilets dont look like they’ve been cleaned for months.
I hope they keep the kitchen cleaner than the bathrooms.
The chicken breast sandwich appeared to be an actual chicken breast. The Orange Chicken sandwich is a processed chicken patty with a little slimy spicy sauce, cabbage and carrots on it.
The Brussels Sprouts may be among the most vile entree’ I ever paid for. Burnt on the outside and raw on the inside. The grilled orange chicken sandwich is close second. NASTY!
I scraped off my chicken patty to finish it. The awful sprouts went in the garbage. An employee came by to ask how everything was tasting and found out we didn’t appreciate their fare. He toddled off with no other comment.
It cost $27.00 to learn we should have gone to Arby’s.
You get to make up your own mind about Charlotte’s Kitchen. We won’t be going back.
