Oh my goodness. What an awesome place to enjoy sushi, sashimi, bento boxes, noodles, and so on. All the food was expertly crafted and fresh. My husband hasn’t reached the sashimi “want” yet, but he is getting there. He said that the salmon sashomi was truly enjoyable, buttery and clean.
We also had the krab rangoon and pork gyoza. Both were the best we have had in probably 20 years.
With the help of our waitstaff, we enjoyed ordering. We decided upon Yakisoba Seafood and also a plate of sashimi.
The waitstaff was wonderful and patiently answered all our questions with expert knowledge. The waitress also asked our opinion of the red bean mochi. We loved it.
This restaurant is organized. There is also a sushi bar to sit and enjoy watching as your plates are being crafted.

Our usual sushi place was on vacation so we ventured out and discovered Charlie’s. As soon as we walked in we knew it was going to be good. Plenty of locals around the bar and the sushi bar was full. Great vibe as well. Our server Kathy greeted us warmly and make great recommendations. Lychee martini was on point. We had the Hawaiian roll, firecracker, Missouri, and finished with the lollipop roll. This was a perfect palette cleanser, light and refreshing. If you’re in Clearwater Beach, venture over the causeway and say hi to Charlie! You won’t be disappointed.

What incredible sushi and even some unique options that I have never seen before. You can choose from a platter or just pick what you want but bewarneed even one selection is a delight to your pallet. Very good food. The staff were quick to say hello and did meet out quick lunch requirements but not much more than this. There was a large area where you can buy China plates, pots and dishes that seems to have a massive 50% discount which is pretty cool if you enjoy something unusual for your home. I would definately recommend the sushi from here it is very good value and tastes very good.

Don’t let the location fool you! It is awesome sushi, they have an extensive menu. I love all the options. Everything was fresh and flavorful. I got the TNT roll and the Hawaiian roll as well as a cocktail. I will definitely be coming back!

Wonderful service here! We had a lovely waiter, unfortunately I didn’t get his name…our drinks were kept topped up! Lots of seating and good fresh delicious food. Recommend, great find!

If you’re looking for great sushi then this is your place! Definitely try the Supercrunchy roll and the Volcano roll. You won’t find these on the paper sushi order form because these are special rolls. You have to
Write them in on the order form. The ramen soup is definitely good but Charley is known for his sushi. Would recommend staying away from the Chicken Teriyaki as it was very dry. But other than that entree we’ve never been disappointed.
We’ve been coming to Charley and eating his wonderful sushi for years. He originally had a place off of McMullen Booth, retired, and now has opened Charley’s Sushi. So glad he’s come back because I was missing my Super Crunchy Roll. We come here at least 1 time every 2 months. This place is a must if you’re in the area. Always recommend Charley’s to our family and friends.

We got the spicy tuna roll, the TNT roll, and the ramen. We have never ever had sushi that bad. The tuna was so out of temperature and we couldn’t even finish eating the bite we took. The ramen tasted like instant ramen with food added. We were extremely hungry yet very disappointed. The guy was nice and compensated accordingly but we won’t be coming back.

The most amazing experience!! The staff was super nice and helpful and the food was the best I have tried in a while. The miso broth is the richest broth I have ever tried. I’m vegan and they modified it to my needs. Spent 70 dollars for 2 people with 2 appetizers, 2 main meals, plus alcohol and drinks.
