Ordered take out and drove the 5 minutes back home. Definitely not worth the $$ I spent. Not sure about you but my plate doesn’t look like a gyro. Bread was old and crumbly. tomatoes were welting and mushy, looks like they slam dunked everything in a container and called it a day.
My mom’s plate was left as is in image, she didn’t eat. Bread also old, tomatoes also old, some of her fries were raw.
I also ordered and paid for 2 extra tzatziki cups and didn’t receive them. Ultimately we paid ~$26 for inedible meals. I picked the meat out of mine. We’re not in the right economy to be comfortable sending out such poor quality control. People are eventually going to say something when they worked 1-2 hours in exchange for this.
Weve tried Carlie’s a few times and haven’t had a good experience. If you want flavorful Arabic foods please visit Grape Leaf Diner on McCord. So far our favorite gyro spot in Toledo is Wings & Grill on Reynolds

I ordered the vegetarian platter which had spinach pie, green beans and rice.
The BEST spinach pie I have had across the board!
The service was great! The young lady was very helpful and has been here for 8 years! Hope I get her again!
And the atmosphere was just as pleasant because the waitress made the vibe just amazing!

Half off breakfast before 11! I had the Mediterranean Skillet, and it had excellent flavor with a satisfying portion size. The server was friendly and very attentive.

Charlie’s is a hidden gem. The service is great, but the prices can’t be beat! The variety of dishes on the menu guarantees that everybody in your group can find something they like. Food has always come out fast and hot. Just be advised the bar is not open on Sundays.

This was my first time coming here, and I am extremely disappointed. The service was AWFUL. The waitress was not friendly at all. She rushed us to order our food, and seemed like she did not want to be there. A side of fries are almost $5, and the portions were small. The chili wasn’t flavorful at all. The food wasn’t the best, and I can’t see myself returning unfortunately. I wish it was a better experience!

Been coming here for years and always great food, great service. They seat you quickly. There’s something for everyone on the menu, even your picky toddlers. Can’t beat half off breakfast, either!

I came on my 30 minute lunch to get a takeout order like I usually do. But the waitress legit walked away while I was trying to order and didn’t come back for 10 minutes. Then after I ordered my food said it’ll be 15 minutes. So I got food I can’t even eat. Wish I had the regular waitress I usually do because she’s always on top of it and this lady was more concerned with why an ambulance was in the parking lot to do her job and take care of her customers. Wasted money on a country fried steak I don’t even have time to eat. This place is usually on top of things but today was a complete disappointment. Will not be coming back again. Went from being my regular lunch spot to a place I’ll steer people away from if they care about quality customer service.

We were in a hurry and got our food quickly and the food was delicious. Dogs had that “snap” to them and the rings were perfectly cooked and a little crispy, just how I like them. Staff was very friendly too. It has an old school diner kind if feel to it and 2 people can eat for about $20.
