PSA: Always always tip your servers! I don’t think some people realize they aren’t paid by the hour, and they deserve payment for giving you a wonderful dining experience.
Charleston’s serves delicious food (my favorites are the dynamite shrimp and bread pudding), but what really impresses me about it are the atmosphere and service. The servers all know the menu backwards and forwards, and it’s fun to see them working together to make everyone’s dining experience smooth and special. It’s a great restaurant for special occasions, and I’ve always had a good time when I visit.

Boy, do I wish I retained the servers name! Superb service – speedy, consistent, thorough and genuine. This is my 3rd time at this chain, 2nd at this location. Always a good experience. Ordered the Salmon Caesar Salad. Yall…absolutely delectable! The buttery croutons, the sweet and flaky croissant, creamy dressing, perfect amount of onions. And the salmon? Cooked to perfection the aoili perfectly drizzled, not too much. 10/10 was hard not to get dessert. Ive been craving German Chocolate and Carrot for 2 months now, Key Lime being my favorite. And wouldn’t you know it? They had all three. Thank you, ma’am. You made our dining experience come together beautifully. Have a safe and stellar 2026!

The atmosphere was very cool and it didn’t seem like there was a long wait time. The chicken fried steak was absolutely delicious! And for a man I only got one Pattie consumed before I was full. They give you plenty of food and my daughter loved the kids meal. Would return.

Unfortunately this place has really gone downhill over the past few years. The quality of food especially takeout it is hit and miss. Not only in the way it’s prepared but also the portion sizes.
The worst development is the burgers. It used to be a fresh hamburger patty. Now it’s this processed pug of meat that I would expect of a fast food joint.
It used to be our go to place after we both would work long hours just to grab our dinner from Charlstons but the Value is just not there anymore for the price you pay! You could do way better!

The Flat Iron steak, Friday night’s special was the best I’ve ever had! So tender and flavorful. I order flat irons whenever I get the chance and have grilled them at home. I hope they continue to offer this piece of steak. Outstanding! And if you sit at the bar, Kia makes a great club special and was helpful and pleasant.

Our go-to are the grilled pork chops. My husband and I split the plate and just asked for extra sides because the entree comes with two big pork chops. The flavor is outstanding! Mom got the chicken piccata and loved it as well! Service was great even for a busy night. I saw the manager standing at his station always scanning the entire restaurant making sure everything was in order.

We stopped by for dinner with family. We had the spinach artichoke dip for appetizer which was good, not too salty. The chicken fried chicken with fried okra and loaded baked potato was my main dish, the chicken was crispy and the dish good overall. We also had the chicken Parmesan and chicken piccata which were also delicious. Service was great and the restaurant feels very welcoming.

I was tasked with hosting an upcoming company dinner for a small group. Having tried other restaurants in the area, I decided to try Charlestons as they offer private seating.
I just went to dinner and was extremely impressed. The hostess sat me quickly and explained the specials and soup of the day. The waitress (Cali) arrived shortly after and took my order. She even helped me with side dish choices.
Shortly after finishing my salad I slid the bowl to the other side of the table and it was collected almost immediately, by who I later learned was the Manager on shift (Joe). Several times folks stopped by and topped off my water. The food was cooked well and presented appealingly. Cali suggested dessert…the carrot cake is amazing!
Over-all the establishment was operating well, the restrooms were clean, and the service was exceptional.
I booked my company gathering before I left! Well done to the team. Looking forward to my next visit!
